The condo had everything we needed for a quick weekend stay. The biggest issue we found was the strong musty smell. Some mildew was present in the shower, and although it is understandable with the issue of poor ventilation during the winter months (possibly) and only a wall air conditioner unit, it proved to be unpleasant. Everything else was great!

We have stayed within the Shanty Creek resort many many times. This place was fine - had everything we needed, was exactly as shown in the pictures. There was a coffee maker, which was nice and the place had a cute view from the back slider. It was nice and quiet and felt very safe and secure. The bed was comfortable. We had no problems finding the unit itself and check in was simple. The cleanliness definitely left something to be desired, however. Mold on the bathroom ceiling and all over the shower curtain was quite gross. Cobwebs and dust all over. The floor felt sticky and the bathroom smelled very strongly of urine. Though this place worked fine for what we were there for, I think maybe a better cleaning company should be considered for future.

I am so sorry this guest did not have a 5 star stay. I really wish she would have reached out right away because I would have gone over and cleaned. This is not the typical. My condos are always very clean. I also find it a little odd that she didn't reach out or have any pictures.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. It was a very quiet location, 10 minutes from the town of Bellaire (highly recommend Shorts Brewery and Mammoth!) and 15 minutes from Torch Lake. We loved sitting on either the porch or the patio. The kitchen had everything we needed. Would stay here again!
