Photos don’t do the house justice. A one of a kind property that felt warm and welcoming. I would recommend this house to anyone and hope to stay there again in the future!

Property was clean, with full of games to keep kids busy, bedrooms were clean and welcoming with cozy comforters. Kitchen was fully equipped. We had fun with grilling and outside lunch with great nature scenery.

The house is in a perfect location with plenty of activities for those days when you're housebound. Our host, Caleb, was extremely helpful and prompt to reply. We absolutely recommend this house for that fun and adventurous getaway!

The house was simply great. Plenty of bedrooms for the kids to choose from. The speakeasy was my favorite haunt while my wife spent hours playing Super Mario in the game room. There is clearly something wrong with the ping pong table because I lost a two-out-of-three tournament against her. Great home for a family or for a group looking to hit area golf courses (plans are in motion). Park to walk the dog in immediate striking distance (did I mention the home is over friendly). Communication with management was beyond exceptional (well done Caleb). Cannot recommend the home more highly!

The host was quick to respond. The house was as advised and had plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained throughout our stay. We enjoyed the practice green, hottub, outside seating, game room, and the speak easy. This is a great property for a laege family with many children. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable.

Even better than it looks

Many times pictures do not accurately portray the property you have booked, however, this property was even better than the pictures. This house is gorgeous and the hosts have thought of everything. Caleb responds within minutes to any question you may have. The community where the house is located is safe and welcoming, and there is plenty to do if you enjoy hiking, exploring caves, or just hanging out at the property with your family. We will definitely be back!

Christmas Vacation

This experience at this beautiful property was amazing. My family and I made so many wonderful memories. We look forward to making many more memories in the future here. This property has everything a family needs to have tons of fun and is in driving distance of even more fun. This was a gift from us to our children and grandchildren and was asked multiple times, can we come back next year. Snowtubing, ice skating, indoor water park, and Christmas lights all within 3 miles of the property.

Massanutten Hideaway

Our family traveled from NJ and NC to enjoy time together during Thanksgiving. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect home, host and location for our gathering. The house was immaculate and well stocked with everything you could possibly need while away. The host, Caleb, was very responsive and clear in his instructions. The teens all enjoyed the game room, outdoor space and hot tub, which was refilled and balanced just before our arrival. Would highly recommend!

AMAZING!

Honestly words cannot describe what a wonderful vacation we had. Not only is the property absolutely perfect, well maintained, clean, and beautiful, it is literally minutes away from all the activities at the Massanutten resort and Caleb is probably the best host I have ever encountered. From booking questions to communicating once we were there, he was quick to help with anything we needed. I highly highly highly recommend this property for your next vacation. It was the perfect balance of activities and relaxation. Thank you Caleb for providing us the opportunity to stay at your spectacular property and for being so awesome!!!

We stayed at Campfire Hideaway for 5 days with 4 adults and 4 teens, 2 families. This home is beautiful and laid out nicely. We were able to separate the adults from the kids. Everyone had compliments about the home decor.The house was stocked nicely with supplies and everything we needed to cook, clean, bathe, etc. The teens loved the game room and just having the space to make up their own games. They enjoyed making popcorn.The great room and over-sized table made it great for family meals. The adults enjoyed the speakeasy room as well.We had issue with hot tub (con). After contacting Caleb, service person came quickly but left without calling us while inside the home (con). Caleb's actions and service person came quickly (pro), service person came back out the next morning (pro) - unfortunately that was our Water Park day and day before our departure. We can't say enough about how responsive, thoughtful, proactive Caleb was. He's an awesome host. We would definitely recommend a stay here!

The house is wonderful! So much for everyone to do and enjoy! The house was clean and stocked with many amenities. We ran out of propane for the fireplace and within 30 minutes we had a replacement tank. Great host, great house!
