Great communication, loved the ability to bring our dog and have access to fenced yard! Left snacks for us and pup with sweet welcome sign. Spices ect stocked if we needed them. Parking in driveway convenient. Good access to stores and restaurants. Multiple nice TVs in living areas and bedrooms. Would look forward to another stay!

This home was very welcoming and comfortable. The beds and pillows were superb. Best night's sleep! Kitchen was fully stocked and the welcome sign and goodie basket were a lovely touch! Water pressure in the shower was outstanding!

The host Shelly went out the way to help us with my grandson’s birthday. Loved the neighborhood and the close to every thing feel. Traffic was ok to boot. We felt right at home. Would stay here again.

Nice house in friendly, typical Pittsburgh neighborhood. Lovely views from deck and walking around the neighborhood. House is as described - clean and well-furnished. Much better than staying in a hotel. Had personalized welcome with snacks for us and cookies for dog - lovely touch. Will stay here again.

Cozy warm house in a safe neighborhood. Perfect for exploring the Pittsburgh area. The owner was amazing and very thoughtful - even had a high chair and pack and play at the house for our use! Throughout our stay, when required, Shelly communicated in a timely and coherent manner. The home was clean and the neighborhood was quiet, safe and family oriented. Downtown Pittsburgh is very accessible from this location and all necessary amenities can be found in either Verona or Oakmont (giant eagle, coffee shops, nice restaurants, etc). If we return to this area, we would certainly look into renting Shelly’s vrbo again! :)

Felt like we were staying with family the moment we entered the home. As soon as we walked through the door, we saw a Welcome sign on the dining room table, a basket of munchies, dog treats and there were bottles of water in the fridge. The home was clean and equipped with everything you need in the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. Sherry (the host) was quick to respond to messages. She even messaged me after we finished our stay regarding finding a pacifier in one of the bedrooms. Fortunately our son has spares! Sherry’s proactive outreach allowed us to avoid having to search for that pacifier at our granddaughter’s bedtime when we got home.

Small kitchen but qell equipped. Very clean. The bedrooms are nice and cozy. The hoise is well heated and was a good temperature when we arrived. Basement has a den area complete with a couch, tables and a big screen tv. There is a smart tv in every bedroom. The house is fully stocked with everything you would need. The host is amazing! This is the second year in a row ive rented the property. The main reason is the host! Shel is willing to go a ove and beyond to make our trips to pittsburgh special. For the second year in a row the host has made us feel right at home for christmas. From setting up a hot cocoa station compelete with snacks and crafts to presents under the tree for the entire family. This house is not afraid the go above and beyond to make sure you have a special trip!

If we could give it 6 stars we would!

Wonderful christmas stay in a lovely cozy home! We just planned on renting a home for a night in pittsburgh for our holiday trip but we got ao much more than that! Nestled in a quiet neighborhood just outside of the busy city this place has the perfect location for being 20 minutes to all the attractions. Off street parking made unloadiing and loading a breeze. The home itself is smaller but it doesnt feel that way! Such a good use of space with a nice litlle kitchen that has all your needs! Decent sized livingroom with a dining table off the kitchen. The bedrooms are perfect for out family of 5 we all fit comfortably and a plus the upstairs bathroom has a hand rail on the shower if you need it and one of the bedrooms has an adjustable bed! Dowstaits has a half finished basement with a wonderful den/game room for entertsining and a nice sized smart tv! The wifi was fast enough for all of my family to use their gaming devices with zero issues. And this brings me to my last point and probably the best part of the whole rental the host! They went out of their way to buy christmas gifts for everyone in my family leave hot cocoa and gingerbread houses for is to build with the kids and other snacks and goodies! They literally labeled every gift with each of my kids names and made sure they bought age appropriate toys! 6/5 this stay was magical! I will definately be coming back!
