This cottage has an amazing and very unique location - directly on the beach, steps from the pier, an easy walk to downtown restaurants and shops, parks, harbour, and historic landmarks like the lighthouse. Something for everyone! The sweeping views are amazing from the back patio out over the lake - a great place to listen to the waves while sipping your favourite beverage. The side yard is nicely landscaped with a fire pit and seating area for relaxing and is more private and quiet than you would expect for its location. The interior was exactly as shown in the listing, very charming, lots of personality, modern updates, clean, plenty of room for our extended family group. We appreciated having the second fridge in the bar area - enough room for the many ingredients and drinks everyone brought! Our family group (ranging in age from grandparents to 2-year old) had a fantastic weeklong stay here! We would happily recommend this gorgeous place - and would love to come back and stay again

The "GOAT" house is a hidden oasis in the middle of Kincardine. The residence was exceptionally clean and fit our needs beautifully. Walking distance to the retail shops and wonderful restaurants. Being right on the water (the jetty to the west, a public park to the east) was a huge plus for us, even though a bit early in the season to enjoy the water. The loons hanging out certainly did, though! Our host replied quickly to all our messages, which was much appreciated. On our next trip to Kincardine, I would hope to stay there again.
