Check in was easy. Amenities were nice. Problem was upkeep of the house. Bathroom cabinet wide open broken and the floor in the kitchen/by laundry was caving in. Luckily we didn’t need to use the downstairs bedroom because I was wary of letting our children walk on that part of the floor. When I emailed management company about those issues the reply was “thank you”. No resolution. Was more expensive than other broke bow houses we have stayed in and those were brand new and nicer. Pond and land around it was fun!
This was a wonderful place to stay! Great location, plenty of room for our wthole family. We had an issue trying to figure out the TVs and internet but they sent someone out right after we called to fix all the TVs within the hour. It was a Friday afternoon, so the internet could not get figured out but it wasn't a big deal since we had the TVs.
Great location, great property. Right by the state park and everything else. Roomy cabin with 6BR and a loft. Large outdoor patio with fireplace, firepit, hot tub, basketball court, on the water. We had 14 in our group and there was plenty of room. Also has a pool table. Definitely a great option for large groups.

Good cabin for 4 families with kids
The description on vrbo site says 6 bedrooms however only 4 king bed bedrooms are there and other are bunk beds and mattresses in loft so definitely recommended only for 4 families. The site also says 5 bathrooms however they are 4 bathroom with bath and other is powder bathroom with no bath so that also needs to be updated on site. Cleanliness was ok, utensils were dusty. Also one more thing the jacuzzi should be bigger, the site picture is confusing, we thought it would be bigger size. Since its a big cabin, big groups will visit, for our group we felt it was small. The location of the place is amazing with lake around. We enjoyed the cabin overall.
This property was great for our party of 15. The basketball court was perfect and doubled as bike training arena for the grandkids. They had something to do all day. The pond area, dock, and fire pit were great. Location is amazing! Close to the park, so you can access the park without the main street traffic. The upstairs loft has been enclosed. Not a huge deal, but makes it more of an attic feel. Watch kids on dock. The rebarb fencing is not real secure and 4-5 pieces are missing. If you are planning to fish, plan to go to the lake or river. We did not see any fish movement, and did not catch a single fish, although it may have been bad fishing days (it happens!). Overall, I could not be happier with how this property fit our needs and made for an amazing family gathering!
We rented this cabin for a family vacation and had so much fun. We even caught fish in the pond. The host was very responses. We had an issue with a key pad beeping and maintenance was in the cabin with in the hour to fix it! The place was clean and kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We will be coming back soon!
This is a Family get together that we do every year, overall the weekend was great, However, the property did/does have issues, there is no internet coming into the wifi router, the patio fireplace is broken, the kitchen sink faucet needs replaced, the master bathroom vanity will not drain, the towels have huge blue stains, the hot tub had really low water, we ran out of propane in the middle of cooking steaks, due to our family being problem solvers we were able to correct most issues, or go without, or just went and bought what we needed which is VERY expensive in a tourist town. Property Managers should try harder to give each property a look over at least once a month to confirm that what they are selling meets with the description of said property.
Conveniently located, town and groceries were just minutes away. Beautiful home, pond fishing was fun! ( catch and release). Very peaceful and relaxing. Owners responded very quickly to all my questions and requests as we were throwing a surprise party for the guest of honor. Good restroom/bedroom ratio. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful Property, but needs TLC outside!
First there are 2 chairs on the patio that are assembled incorrectly, 1 leans forward because the mount is assembled wrong the other is also assembled wrong causing a guest to go over backwards causing bruising and a knot on the head. The MAJOR problem i have is with the advertised "PRIVATE POND" that is catch and release! It's false advertisement to call a sewer retention lagoon a private pond! Yeah, as an engineer it took me about 10 minutes to figure out why there is virtually no fish, no swimming and an areator! The Bath on the main floor has a privacy door for the water closet. It serves no purpose, seeing that you can stand at the doorway/mirror and see everything. Also the doors are hung backwards. You shouldn't be able to stand outside the swinging doors and see in. Switch the doors to reverse the slats.
Overall, we had a great time at the cabin. The house was spacious enough to accommodate our family trip of 19 people. We spent a lot of time cooking and the well-equipped kitchen had everything we needed. There were a few items that needed attention however. The hot tub and the wine fridge didn't work. That was disappointing. We were really looking forward to using the hot tub. The bathtub in the middle upstairs bathroom doesn't drain properly so while showering, a pool of dirty water is all around your feet. We would suggest placing a fence around the basketball court. Its close proximity to the woods caused us to lose several basketballs. We tried to go fishing at the private lake several times and didn't catch any fish. We were left to think that there weren't any fish in there as we only recieved bites from a pesky turtle. Even though a few things didn't work, we kept focused on the real reason for the trip which was to spend time enjoying our family and that's what we ended up doing.

Thank you for the feedback, we have added a fence around the basketball court so no more retrieving basketballs from the woods. We have also repaired the hot tub and replaced the wine fridge.
Overall an enjoyable and pleasant stay (but a few issues in the kitchen to point out)
Overall the cabin was tidy and mostly clean with ample clean linens for our group. The amenities were very nice and well appreciated (i.e. playground set, basketball hoop, foosball table, pool table, spacious covered patio with ample seating and a large screen tv, gas grill, etc).
There were a few dust bunnies in some areas which had some of the guests wondering how thorough the cleaning was.
The big draw backs had mostly to do with the kitchen. The listing described it as a "chef's dream custom kitchen", but I would say that's a far stretch from what it actually was. For starters, the stove top oven would not heat up. In fact the entire upper heating coil where the broiler would normally be was missing entirely. Instead there was just an empty hole. So our attempts to bake cookies and pastries failed. We called the property manager about this and a maintenance tech came out to examine the oven. But all he did was check to see if it turned on and insisted there was nothing wrong with it. Besides that, there was no garbage disposal in the sink and the dishwasher had a faulty rack that kept falling off the rail.
But besides these issues, we really enjoyed our stay.
This was our first time staying at Four Sisters Lodge on Private Pond... we will certainly be back. The space perfectly accommodated our family and provided an excellent backdrop for our adventures in Hochatown. Thank you!
