Galapagos Casa Marina is a unique contemporary, spacious 1.400 square feet, 3 floor, town house located in the heart of the Galapagos.

This Comfortable home is suitable for all families, friends and corporations visiting the islands.

We offer spacious great room with a modern kitchen, large dining table, and comfortable seating in the living area. Providing a comfortable place for your group to relax and enjoy a movie or presentation on the large flat screen TV after a day of exploring the islands.

This is a multi-level home that has a street entrance taking you to the great room with living, dining area and kitchen.

On the second level, bedrooms are located and on the third level, the roof top terraces with ocean view & highland views are on the upper levels.

The living area and bedrooms are all air-conditioned.

The home is centrally located only one block from the main dock and in the heart of town close to shopping and restaurants and yet very silent for all rooms are sound proof. All you need for your exploration is available on a walking distance from Casa Marina Galapagos.

Great location in Puerto Ayora! Very close to the ferry terminal and proinsular market which had everything we needed. This was the end of our trip and we were thrilled with the huge kitchen and great room for homemade family dinners. We could walk to the Darwin Research Center and the walking trail that leads to Playa Tortuga Bay. Morning coffee on the rooftop was a wonderful way to start the day.

Great place, location, and host!

We really enjoyed our stay here while in Santa Cruz. The location is great – close to everything, and just a block away from Darwin Ave makes it a short and easy walk to shops, restaurants, and the pier. The rental was clean, very spacious and well suited for families, the view from the upstairs balcony was beautiful, and Celso is very responsive and helpful. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

We overlooked some information he sent us and he quickly replied to our call and offered to fix our mistake. Very helpful during our stay. The rental is ideally located.

Just wonderful!!

We were so pleased with our stay and the services we received from Celso and his team. We are already talking about our return visit!! The location and the accomodations were all we were hoping for and more. We were close to lots of restaurants and shops, the supermarket and the dock. We loved the views from the roof balcony. Thank you so much and we look forward to next time!

Great stay in Puerto Ayora

We've stayed at many VRBO properties and Celso is one of the most responsive hosts. I am not sure how he does it (considering he is a naturalist leading cruise tours) but my questions/messages were usually replied within minutes. Great communication before and during the stay. The property is very spacious, has all the amenities including great A/C. Awesome location, close to many restaurants and the dive shop we used (Eagle Ray). We had a great time on Santa Cruz and highly recommend Celso's Casa Marina!

Great choice for our family

Casa Marina worked out very well for our family - 3 young women and 2 70-somethings. It's very large and well-provisioned. Though the location is just one block from main streets (Charles Darwin and Baltra), it was quiet and very convenient. There were a couple of very minor "hiccups," which were resolved by Andrea, the manager. It is a multi-level townhouse, which might pose a challenge for someone with mobility impairments, but it was fine for us. Andrea also helped to arrange our transportation to and from the airport. Getting from the airport is slightly confusing, given that one must take a bus and ferry to get to the main island of Santa Cruz. We would definitely recommend Casa Marina to others.

Great property near everything

We stayed 3 nights in Casa Marina in Puerto Ayora. From check in to check out, everything was perfect! The property owner Celso is very communicative, and made everything easy. Our flights were at odd times, and he provided us with an early check in and late check out so we weren’t stuck with our bags while waiting for the correct time. His manager Andrea was very helpful, and Gloria made sure the house was clean every day. The property had more than enough room for all 4 of us to spread out. The living room was spacious and comfortable, there were more than enough bedrooms and bathrooms. The best part was the rooftop terrace with a wonderful view of the highlands and town. The casa is about a block and a half from the marina that all of our tours left from, and there are great restaurants within a block of the house. All in all, we loved our stay in Casa Marina, and would highly recommend it!

Perfect location!

This property worked perfectly for us! One block back from Darwin St. made it so easy to access everything. The market and tour pickup points were just a 3 minute walk. Restaurants, shopping and the Darwin Center at our fingertips. Contrary to what you read, Puerto Ayora DOES have cash machines. The market at the docks and the banks have several. Celso is a great communicator. Andrea was very helpful with getting us settled, arranging taxis and general information. Gloria kept everything spic and span and even threw in our laundry. Andrea arranged a taxi driver to meet us at the airport and walk us through the process of getting to the unit - bus from airport to dock, ferry over to Santa Cruz then taxi to the unit. We managed our way back by bus, ferry and bus. Great trip, great people, great vrbo!

Casa Marina is situated about 2 blocks from the port where the ferries arrive from adjacent islands. There are numerous restaurants, a. Supermarket ( a bit pricey) and shops all within walking distance. Darwin Center and Tortuga Bay are also easily accessible by foot. The house is very spacious and comfortable, each bedroom on the third floor has its own bathroom equipped with soaps, shampoo, shower towels and beach towels ( a nice surprise) The second floor holds the main living space with a well stocked kitchen if you opt to cook some of your meals. There is a gallon bottle water dispenser and filtered water, also a nice surprise. Our host Celso and his manager Andrea are very accommodating, full of information and answered any questions we had very quickly. The living room has a large collection of movies, playing cards, some games and really cool books. These will come in handy since the wifi on the island as a whole is very weak and TV reception is spotty. Overall, we had amazing experiences by day and a very comfortable "home" to relax by night. THANK YOU, Casa Marina for allowing us to enjoy your views from the roof top and being within walking distance to all.

This home had everything you could possibly want in a vacation. The location was a block from the main Street with multiple options for excellent restaurants, bars or just wandering down to the square and enjoying the activities that were taking place. The rooms were spacious and well designed for comfort as well as privacy if you have a large group. The kitchen was well stocked. If you choose to eat in, you have a variety of options from appliances. The rooftop was an amazing spot to enjoy an evening cocktail and just gaze out at a beautiful harbor setting. The host could also not have been more responsive. Questions were often answered within 5 minutes. He is also extremely knowledgeable about things taking place in the Galapagos Islands and with his background is obviously a wealth of knowledge!

Es una casa muy grande, segura, limpia, ordenada, tiene varios detalles bonitos y esta cerca del mulle y todos las actividades (agencias de turismo, restaurantes, tiendas de souvenirs, supermercado). Su terraza es impresionante con vista increíble hacia al mar. Su personal es muy amable y contestan casi inmediato, también hacen limpieza diaria como en los hoteles. Muy incomodo

Fue muy incomodo tener el area social y los dormitorios en diferentes pisos, especialmente para personas de la tercera edad, incluso la terraza en el ultimo piso...esta propiedad no es recomendable para personas que tengan dificultad para subir escaleras, se recomienda hacer limpieza todos los dias de lo contrario la humedad da mal olor a las abitaciones.

Great Location Amazing host

We had a spectacular stay at Casa Marina. Celsi was such a great host and was in communication all before our trip, during and after. He was my first WhatsApp contact. The home is extremely spacious and has great views and an easy walk to anything. We were a group of 7 adults so having the perfect bedding arrangement and each room with its own bath was great. Having a drink and food and a swing in the hammock on the deck is great. Perfect for sunrise. Cleaning service daily. The kitchen was more equipped than I would have ever expected and huge. If you are a family, this would also be perfect. For the perfect vacation to Galapagos, stay at Casa Marina. The TV does turn on randomly.

Exceptional location & excellent staff

Our stay with casa marina was nothing short of perfect. We were a party of 4 and had more than enough space for each of us to wind down and rest. Each room had an en suite to every bedroom and another bathroom in the living room kitchen area. The roof deck was amazing. Coming back to the casa was like coming home. We always felt safe and even the neighbors were friendly and helpful. The staff was beyond helpful and we fell in love with Gloria. She is on point with her cleaning, every day we came back and our beds were made with fresh towels and very clean casa, barely seeing her at all unless we needed her and she was prompt to get there to help. Celso is excellent with communication and extremely resourceful reminding us of things we need to do during our stay as far as travel, booking transport, covid tests, etc. I highly recommend casa marina for a vrbo!

A little piece of paradise

We had the best time in Santa Cruz. Casa Marina was within walking distance to all attraction, to the pier from where we took two boat rides to different islands. Celso could not have been nicer. We texted him once at 9 pm and he responded within 3 minutes. It was an amazing experience. The house could have easily housed more people( we were 7). The house was clean, we had absolutely everything we needed. The patio and the views from the balcony were amazing. We hope to return someday.

Great spot for touring GALAPAGOS

The house was exactly as advertised. Less than 5 minutes to the water taxis and minutes always dining and shopping. The AC works better than anywhere I’ve stayed! We booked for six nights and took mostly day trips but did an overnight to Isabela. It’s a long ferry ride and it was nice to leave our luggage at the house and bus take a small carryon. Definitely go to isabela. (0: It’s super easy to get to the house from the airport. After you clear the X-ray spot buy a $5 dollar bus ticket. This will take you to the water taxi. They’ll take your big bags and pile them on the water taxi and shuttle you over for 50 cents or a dollar. Can’t quite remember. Then there are taxis and buses waiting to take you to puerto ayora. Taxi is 25 bucks. Don’t bother with expensive transportation. To go back to the airport repeat until reverse. We had a snafu with the person that was scheduled to pick us up and wasted an hour for a service that wasn’t. remotely needed.

Beautiful 3 br home-best location in Puerto Ayora

3 couples spent 7 nights in this beautiful 3 br (each ensuite bath) home in the most ideal location in Puerto Ayora. House is a 2 minute walk to waterfront, shopping, dining & meeting point for day excursions. The main level has an open floor plan which includes a fully equipped kitchen, a large living room and dining area as well as an additional 1/2 bath, all done in higher end furnishings and appliances. There is a large screen tv as well as dvds, games and an extensive library. Much appreciated was coming home from our daily excursions to a tidied up house with fresh towels daily as well as a cleaned up kitchen. Gracias to Gloria! Our evenings were often spent on the rooftop deck, which was equipped with multiple lounge chairs, a hammock and gas grill. The view of the waterfront is spectacular! Celso was easily reachable and was a pleasure to deal with, He coordinated our airport transfers, provided us with great videos of local activities and checked in with us by phone to ensure our stay was everything we had hoped it would be. We couldn't ask for a more ideal rental for our Galapagos trip! Thank you Celso and crew!

Great place and location

Property matched online description. Great space, lots of room, very clean, has all the amenities, nice view of the port from the deck. Location is excellent for walking to Darwin center, Tortuga Bay, numerous restaurants and shops. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful Home in Magical Place

We just finished a wonderful 5 day stay at Casa Marina Galapagos! The house way very spacious and clean with a daily house cleaner. The location in the heart of Puerto Ayora cannot be beat. Literally seconds away from restaurants, tour boat shops, supermarket and gift shops.The views of the marina are spectacular. You can stand up on the 4th floor terrace and watch the other tourists being shuttled back and forth on dingys and water taxis to their boats. We decided to enjoy most of our meals up on the terrace. It was wonderful. We took a private half day bay tour with a local guide who snorkeled with us and took us on a nature walk. The next day we took another tour with a guide to 3 uninhabited islands. They provided a warm lunch of fish, rice and veggies - no fast food here. The guide snorkled with us and we even swam with penguins and sharks! We then docked close to the most beautiful beach I have seen and swam amongst the sea turtles from the boat to the shore and frolocked in the beautiful turquoise warm water. We had nothing planned in advance and it all worked out beautifully. The wonderful people in Galapagos are very friendly and want to make sure you have a good time. The internet worked 2 out of the 5 days we were there so make sure you have your guide books with you. There is an internet cafe right next door which cost us $4:50 for 3 devices for 30 minutes but who wants to be online when in the Galapagos Islands? We also went on all of the excursions suggested in an informative video that Celso and his family provided. They were just great! Thank you Celso for providing a wonderful vacation home in a magical place!
