We had a great time! The house was perfect for our family reunion and mom’s 80th birthday celebration. Total seclusion in the mountains. Amazing deck area and tables for eating outside. Weber Grill worked well both nights. AC in the house kept us very comfortable. Super clean and updated, yet the home still has that rustic, mountain feel. And the host was extremely accommodating and quick to reply to messages. Could not be happier! Thank you!
I stayed at this property with a large group of my childhood friends, and we loved the cabin. There are two main rooms to hangout in, both with large TVs. Plenty of board games and a poker table too. The beds were very comfortable. The outdoor space was fantastic for lawn games. The porch had ample room to relax on and have dinner. The covered porch and awning also allowed us to use the porches even in the rain. The BBQ worked great for us too. The room above the garage was nice to have; it had a very nostalgic feel to it with a big CRT TV and plenty of couches and sofas for seating. The cabin is not too far away from grocery stores and a short drive to hiking areas as well as the Delaware River. We would definitely consider coming back to this property for future trips.
The host was responsive, friendly and welcoming. The house was beautiful, spacious, inviting, and cozy. Everything was absolutely top notch. Made for a great stay during our week of skiing. Thanks!
This was a very beautiful and clean cabin with everything you would need for a great stay! We enjoyed the beautiful property and home especially the fire pit! The host Irene is also very accommodating and responds very fast. Would love to come back again soon! 10/10
My family and I were looking for a cozy getaway to spend New Year's together, and this place was just perfect! It was warm (we loved the pellet stove), had plenty of space to accommodate all of us, and had everything we needed to make our home-cooked dinners (including a grill!) Irene was very responsive and communicative throughout. Highly recommend this lovely cabin!

Thank you so much for your lovely review- it makes me so happy to know you all had a wonderful time together in the cabin!! Hope to host you again in the future :)
Irene's house is a total gem. It is so secluded - truly no other houses anywhere near it. There's a ton of cool features, like two BBQ grills, a fire pit, an awesome patio, and the interior of the house is well laid out as well, with several beds and two separated hangout areas. Communication with Irene was simple and seamless, always swift responses when we had questions. Finally, the location is really optimal. It's deep in the woods and you feel like you're completely alone in the best way possible, but it's just a few miles to Narrowsburg and Shohola/Barryville - great Delaware River access, close to grocery stores, etc. I hope to stay again soon.
My family and I decided to look into a rental for our Christmas gathering since we had a lot of people from out of town. This listing stood out among the others for its space, amenities and location. Half the party drove up from Philly and the other from NYC with similar drive times. Once arriving, we were met with a picturesque snow covered cabin in the woods. Our party of 10 adults and 3 kids settled in with plenty of rooms and beds for everyone to be comfortable. We spent the next 3 days enjoying the property. We brought enough groceries for the trip and the kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast, lunch, and dinner with plenty of snacks. We planned to make a trip to Big Bear Ski close by but didn’t get to make a reservation. We didn’t miss out on snow fun though. That day we took advantage of the fire pit and sleds on property. Every night we enjoyed the pellet stove to keep us warm and played with games we brought and some we found in the house. Our host, Irene was very responsive and quickly provided us any information we needed. We are very thankful for our stay and will keep this on our list for any future gatherings.

I wish I had taken more photos to show the true condition of this property. The property description should mention four of the queen beds are in the loft area which is only accessible by a very narrow spiral staircase that is not easily maneuverable and could be dangerous especially for children and older adults. there is minimal lighting in the loft area with nowhere to put or store any personal items. The half bath is also on the second floor and is a tight space. There is no place to put a tooth brush or any personal bathroom toiletries in any of the bathrooms. The half bath upstairs is the only bathroom with a mirror. The bathrooms are all very small with very small showers. Signage also states nothing is to be flushed down the toilet including toilet paper. The bathrooms were clean but the house in general was dusty. Irene was very responsive to messages, which was appreciated. There are a lot of the owners belongings in the house which is odd for a Vrbo, including personal prescription controlled substance medication that should be properly stored. The house is very secluded and quiet. There was plenty of firewood for the firepit. Overall best suited for someone looking for a very rustic experience.
