Hosts were very accommodating. Home has a really fun vibe. Nice neighborhood close to Rosemarys famous Ice Cream. Had a comfortable, nice stay.

Weeklong visit to see friends!

We came to Bakersfield to visit friends and co-workers. I also came for a high school reunion. We enjoyed everything about the home. The inside was decorated so cute! We felt we were on the coast of Italy! We had everything we needed and felt safe in the neighborhood. I would definitely stay there again.

Fun, comfortable house in a nice neighborhood.

There's a bit of a shock when you first walk into this house but, after a moment, you appreciate everything that's going on. It's themed and fun and when you look at the children's book that Tamara wrote it all makes sense. Vivid, colorful and imaginative. Tamara was really helpful. The back yard is fully fenced to the ground so we didn't have to worry about our pups getting out. We will stay again on our way through if they'll have us! It's a great spot for a last leg to LA and a good place to stop if you want to see the desert bloom at Carrizo Plain National Monument.

Bert had throat cancer, and had his voice box removed in 2011. Bert speaks with an electrical device and is the master of his craft in interior design. You'll experience fun designs at our home by Bert and my wife Tamara, and maintanence problems solved by me. I have a background in engineering, love the spiritual implications of quantum physics. I studied the lives of powerful people (heroes) and wrote a book about their path to greatness and how to find your own. My wife is the author of a children's book called Emerald Echo, Beyond this world there is a world I want... where you'll enter an underwater journey within, and discover untold stories that ache for expression - experience forgiveness and unlock the treasure of your Heart Virtue.
