Booked with the impression there was a hot tub on site. Arrived to discover it was not operational. Very little water pressure for showers. Toilet falling off the base. Old coffee left in coffee maker. Curtain rods breaking off wall. Floorboards were breaking. Although the location was good for a group ski weekend, this place could use some repairs and general upkeep.

Ski week

Overall it did the trick. We were only there in the evenings, close enough to Owls head which was a bonus. Unable to use the hot tub which was a huge disappointment since that is always one of our “must haves” when we chose a location. There was only a little propane left and we had planned on a couple bbq dinners. Outdoor fireplace was nice but we ran out of wood.Price was reasonable all things considered.

The hot tub is not available in the winter and this was not what the listing said. Based on the hosts message (which came in AFTER the date which we could get a refund) it sounds like the hot tub is always unavailable in the winter but this was not how the listing was advertised. This is misrepresentation. Then, we arrived to the property to find there was no running water, which it seems the host knew about based on a review from Jan 2026. This was not dealt with for a full 24 hours from our arrival, after asking the host to deal with it multiple times. We were unable to shower & drink water for the first 2 full days & nights. Because even when the water was back on, it ran black for over 12 hours. Meaning we could not shower until our third day there. Being that we were on a ski trip, not having a hot tub or working shower or drinking water was absolutely unacceptable. A few other things to mention are that some basic essentials were missing: cooking oil, sugar and the coffee maker would only work 1 out of 4 days. The towels provided were small & only 1 per person. There is not enough seating in the living room for a 10 person chalet. The cost we paid for this is astronomical compared to the experience we were provided. We appreciate that the host fixed the water but it’s very disappointing that it took a full 24 hours and us reaching out multiple times for this to be actioned. Vrbo told us a refund was going to be issued, and 6 days later, no response.
