Tips and suggestions for your stay:
You may ask me for tips and recommendations on places to go sightseeing, shopping, transportation, money exchange and other things that you might need during your stay.
I can speak to you in English, Spanish, and with a little extra effort and patience in French and in German (Deutsch)!!
The Recoleta neighborhood :
Recoleta is one of the most exclusive areas where both history and charm get together, in its wide cultural circuit, with its museums, galleries, parks and gardens.
Recoleta´s architecture is signed by the neoclassical French influence, which had begun on the second half of the XIX century, when the aristocratic families from BS As who lived in the southern areas decided to relocate in this lands in a attempt to escape from a flu epidemic.
Therefore, since 1871 several luxurious residences were built in this area, giving its landscape an European resemblance.
Transportation and getting around:
The zone has superb public transportation availability, the new H subway / underground is at only one and a half blocks from the building!!!!
And many public buses go through Las Heras Avenue, taxis too! Radio taxi services are also available.
There are at least four nearby car parking garages that you may use to park your car. Rates change because of inflation.
There are also several supermarkets were you may buy food and other things that you may need, as well as drugstores (pharmacies), bars, and the very well know Recoleta Mall, only one block and a half away from the building.
Disabilities and building entrance:
The building entrance hall has two small 5 step stairs separated by an ample rest. If you are using a wheelchair or if you use a baby carriage, you should not book the apartment.
