My family and I traveled from Miami to Atlanta for Students' weekend at Morehouse College. We didn't have to deal with too much of the Atlanta traffic, it was a quick on & off, so the the listing location was perfect for our commute to and from the college every day. The home was easily accessed with the digital locks. This location is an older home that has had some upgrades. If I'm being honest, in my opinion there are a couple of things that I would have done differently and the house could still use a little TLC. I would suggest making repairs to the outside steps and the flooring of the entryway into the second bedroom, detail to the cleanliness of the floor, & also to have washcloths available for those of us who use them. We needed somewhere to climb into bed( pun intended) & lay our heads after a long day on campus. I'm 5'2, so for me it felt like the master bedroom was clearly made for the "Alton Giant" but the bed was very comfortable after I was able to get into it. I should also add that we enjoyed the house snacks that were left for us. For the most part this house served it's purpose for our visit.
We had a great time at the house, but found difficult to use the microwave for warming the food. The microwave it’s also very small and just fit one small plate every time. Each room has a tv and that is a plus, but one of rooms and the bathroom sink is made for very tall people making very difficult to get to bed or wash your face. You almost have to use a stool to climb into bed.

When we walked into the house around 10 pm, the stench of weed was quite heavy and someone had turned the heat on the thermostat to 95 degrees! It would have taken hours for the smell to lessen and the home to cool down, so we left within 15 minutes of arriving. I also have asthma, so we couldn’t stay for my health.

La huésped reportó una situación al momento de llegar y decidió retirarse aproximadamente 15 minutos después del ingreso, sin pernoctar ni permitir que se realizara una verificación o corrección. La estadía no se concretó.
This is a charming old home that is under some remodeling. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Everything worked. Just a few minor details to fix and it would make it perfect. It looks like a sketchy neighborhood when you're turning onto the street, but actually it's a quite charming neighborhood. It was very quiet and we will definitely stay there again.

This was a nice place to stay, very nice house and very clean the only issues we had was that it was very cold at night but we figured out how to work the thermostat eventually and the water would get cold pretty quick but other than that everything was fine. Definitely recommend this host for future guests!
The home had a lot of incomplete house work. Door knobs were falling off the doors. There was holes in the bathroom wall. The sink was broken and will overfill very quickly. Entering the house, the porch stairs were very fragile, one wrong move and you’ll fall through there were nails sticking out the wood. The first aid kit was not stocked. We should not have paid as much money as we did. The house should nit be listed in here because it is not complete. The home is undergoing renovation.
It’s an old house that was poorly renovated… there is no hot water and a light fixture was broken upon arrival. Host had terrible communication(takes hours to reply and not being urgent ). Missing key to front door and host didn’t even know the code to the back door. Got locked out and won’t exempt us! And is blaming us for not following instructions, which were never given to us.
On the day of checkout, my boyfriend woke up with several bites all over his arms, back and neck. We assumed at the time it was mosquitos. Unfortunately the next night I found myself covered in the same bites. As I traveled with several pillows and blankets I have now realized that his bites were bed bugs and I am now covered in them. All of my bedding is now infested, my hair (which was done for my birthday) because I have extensions that are sewn into my head had to be taken out a week after I got them done as well as braids. I’ve found actual bugs now that it has been about a week since the first night staying there and I am very uncomfortable from the bites and the situation in general. My hands are covered to the point that they’re shaking from all the itching. On top of that, the unit was not at all what was pictured and we had several issues such as the fridge in the middle of the kitchen with no water supply, broken faucets, broken windows, the homeless man sleeping on the front porch with broken stairs, the loud music coming from the business right next door, the breakers tripping/power outage. I was willing to let all that go but bedbugs is not acceptable. Both of us are now psychically affected (covered in bug bites) and the inconveinence of having to launder all my clothes and bedding is just not ok. Now the owner has gone mia when asking for a refund for my trip. PROCEED WITH CAUTION!!!!!
