We LOVED how blissful the property was with the woods, view of the lake, and fire pits! We brought 9 children with us and they thoroughly enjoyed the floating mat/raft in the lake and two available kayaks/1 canoe. When we had a small issue, Lisa was very responsive! Great stay!

About the host
Hosted by Lisa A. Schuetz
This cottage is my family's happy place, but we also love sharing it with others. We think it's the best spot on the lake and can lose ourselves just laying on a floatie and staring at the sky or in a hammock reading. It's a cottage where you can relax but still feel that tiny bit of luxury that makes a place special.
Why they chose this property
We love the charming Three Lakes village as well as the more bustling Eagle River because it's away from the big crowds, but still has everything you need to find when you are away from home. The perfect mix of a hometown feel with a bit of tourism to make it fun.
What makes this property unique
We're on three acres and on a peninsula, so you can see the lake from every room (although you have to try a bit harder in the kitchen). The house if far enough from the lake that you don't hear the fisherman talking while having a romantic conversation, yet you can clearly hear the loons and see the eagles. There are many spots to congregate on the property from the beach side fire pit to the picnic area on the west shore to the boat launch on the eastern bit.
At night, you'll see all the stars and planets you can imagine (we have a telescope) and sometimes you'll see the Northern Lights.
