Enjoy the jaw-dropping wonder of the Hill Country at Owl Hollow, our 260-acre ranch near Leakey, TX.

Affectionately named after a Texas owl, “Barn” is adoringly appointed with modern comforts, granting gracious views of hills and valleys as far as the eye can see. Barn’s exterior is a nod to a traditional barn while the interior features the soft, warm colors of the barn owl. Enjoy soft creature comforts in a rugged expanse. Staying at Barn is truly a unique experience that offers everything needed to rest, relax and renew.

Barn is an 11 mile drive Northwest of Leakey, set among several very large private ranches. It is quiet, secluded, and a great spot to take in open terrain and big skies.

Property was the perfect out of town getaway. The house is a modern version of a dog-trot with covered communal space in the center that opens up to amazing hill country views. Stars were amazing and complimented by outdoor fire pit. Pet friendly…a great retreat for 1-2 couples and their furry companions.

My wife and I had a great stay at this beautifully remote property, about 15 minutes outside the town of Leakey. Inside, the accommodations were roomy and open and well appointed. Outside, the location offered great views of the hill country surroundings. Evening overcast kept us from enjoying what would have been amazing night skies, but we did enjoy birding from the back deck throughout the day. Our host kept us well informed in the lead-up to our visit. We'd stay here again, if we ever head back to the Lost Maples area.
