About this property
Beautiful La Quinta Home in Gated Codorniz great for SNOWBIRDS many Extras
Welcome to our beautiful home located in the gated community of Codorniz This is a private gated community for added security. We are near many PGA golf courses,the polo grounds and Old Town La Quinta.
I perfer to have have guests stay longer than 30 days from January
to April as this is my busiest time. This is not written in stone so feel free to ask but I wanted you to understand.Our home has a very airy and open feel with a lot of natural light
It has 2 master bedrooms ensuite both with comfortable King size beds each with their own private bathroom.
We have an area upstairs with a desk and printer for your use if you need some workspace.
Our 2 car attached garage allows for plenty of parking with an extra fridge and plenty of storage.
There is a patio with a gas grill and seating for your enjoyment. The other patio has comfortable seating to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an evening drink. As you will see in the photos our home is professionally decorated with very comfortable furnishings It is so beautiful it may have been a model home.
We have a 65 inch smart TV in both the living room and one of the bedrooms with Netflix,Amazon Prime and many other streaming channels,we also have expanded cable and WIFI.
Our kitchen is a dream with stainless steel appliances and just about every kind of small appliances and gadgets to create a wonderful meal. We also have an assortment of spices and condiments for your use.
Our dining room seats 8 for nice family meals and we have 2 barstools at the counter so the cook is never alone while in the kitchen.
There is an additional bathroom downstairs and the washer/dryer is in an enclosed closet.
We have central heating and air conditioning.Ceiling fans in the 3 main rooms to circulate the air.
If you are there is the winter we have an electric fireplace for additional heat and ambiance.
We have a leather sectional in the living room with a wing chair that makes seating enough for 6-8.
We are very close to the community salt water pool and jacuzzi ,tennis court, exercise room ,gas grill,tables and chairs and an outdoor fireplace where you can socialize and meet our neighbors.
As well as golf courses we are minutes away from the famous Indian Wellls tennis facility,Empire Polo grounds and so many golf courses.
There is shopping very close and a myriad of wonderful restaurants both casual and and fine dining
Of course in the desert you never have to be dressed up.
I HAVE INCLUDED AN EXTRA CHARGE FOR ELECTRICITY WHICH IS HIGHER IN THE SUMMER MONTHS PLEASE ASK ABOUT THIS AS IT WILL CHANGE IN COOLER TIMES.

My husband & I are both native Californians and have lived in Southern California all of our lives.
We both grew up in the Los Angeles area and in 1985 after visiting San Diego and falling in love with the area we made our permanent home there.
I have been coming to the desert area since I was about 16 and could drive here with friends to get a start on our tan by going to one of the hotels and enjoying their pool and sunshine. ( little did we know the harm of the sun)
My husband & I have been coming many years to enjoy the desert and the tennis at Indian Wells and it was on one of these trips that we decided to buy our beautiful home in La Quinta.
We feel that when we leave San Diego to come here we just go from one vacation spot to another one and enjoy both for their different beauty.

Why they chose this property
After looking at other areas in and around the desert area our realtor showed us Codorniz in La Quinta and we knew at first sight that we found home.
The location is perfect tucked back with a view of the Santa Rosa mountains away from the busy city but close enough to get around quickly.
It is nice to be able to get to stores and restaurants but not have them in your backyard.
Our community has such a warm and friendly feeling we knew that this pick was a good choice for us.
I would like to take credit for the lovely decorations and furnishing in our home but we bought them with the house and it is so beautiful I am amazed that the sellers gave up this home and furnishings but am so happy that they did.
I am just not that talented to decorate as they have.
We hope that you feel the same.

The fact that it is gated and also that the community doesn't allow anything but monthly rentals is a plus.It keeps out people coming and going.
In walking our dog around the area we have met so many residents and I have to say it is a very friendly atmosphere.
It is kid friendly but also has many ages of people living here.
The pool and surrounding areas are kept up beautifully by our Homeowners Association.
The fact that it is gated and also that the community doesn't allow anything but monthly rentals is a plus.It keeps out people coming and going.
