Great location! Close to stores and restaurants. Very cozy, comfortable lodging. The property, although located in a community, felt very private. The view and amenities made it a very peaceful, restful break from the daily hustle and bustle. Would highly recommend renting this spot to anyone wanting a quiet, comfortable spot to spend their vacation! We enjoyed it.
Great fast communication. We had a great time we were sad when it was time to leave. If we are in the area again we will be booking at this places again. Nice and perfect location and we had everything we needed.
The property was nice. Just as described. A little dated, but you can tell they are working to make it nice. We had an awesome time around the fire pit and the pool was amazing! As for the property itself, honestly it's the only place we have ever stayed with no instructions at all. Had to search for wifi info, and ended up just messaging the owner to get the password after a while looking, and he was quick to respond. We very much enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back!
Christmas with the Family. Have family all over NC so this was a centralized location and we chose correct!! Each age group was satisfied and that's hard to do!!

Nice property but some issues. Good locationCommunication with the host was slightly problematic throughout. Slow or no responses to some questions before and during our stay. The email and app both stated that the host would send access information leading up to the trip. The day before our arrival, still no access information. I reached out to the host via the app and I was told to check my email (of course we had already checked all folders and spam). I reached out again to the host who responded that they have never had this issue before, and they “highly encouraged” me to check my email and spam again. Still no access information to be found. Day of our check in, still no information and I had to contact the VRBO live chat and an agent helped to contact the host directly and host finally provide access information. Upon arriving property is beautiful and had some nice touches, i.e dining room table was set up with silverware and dishes. IssuesThe master bath door knob is a push lock and there is no door stop. It locks if pushed open all the wayOf the four restrooms, two of the bathrooms had a half used toilet paper rolls with no extras rolls anywhere on site. Only 2 had hand soapOn original listing, it said pool was available mar-oct. Pool was closed until April15One of the upstairs showers is missing tiles and there is visible water damage in the wall. Gameroom games missing/broken parts no power chords. Window screens don’t keep out bugs, esp at night.

When I arrived things were as expected. I’ve been renting through VRBO for approx 20 years. After getting all my and my dogs belongings inside, I realized both back doors did not latch! Property manager assured me it was a safe neighborhood and a repair man would be there the next day 12-2. So I checked the whole house for intruders. Being there for a wedding, and keeping my 15mo granddaughter the next day, made for NO sleep the 1st night, as the master door did not latch either! Repair man came at 3 the next day. Very nice. Said it looked like someone broke in both back doors and master bed door! First 24 hours of this trip was a nightmare. Never had this problem before.

Frequent VRBO user
It seemed as though the property owner was new to VRBO. Communication was difficult and delayed in responses. Electronic lock didn't work well at all. No instructions left at the property for any of the amenities, i.e. sauna, tubs. Small 30 gallon water heater, so showers for 6 adults had to be spread between evenings and mornings. There were 3 towels for each bathroom and they were 4' X 2' (2) and 3' X 2" (1), not what anyone would expect for a bath towel. Hopefully the more experience they have the better they'll prepare the property. It's a great location and has amenities, just needs to be put together better and property manager needs to provide a phone number, as the communication through VRBO application was slow and difficult to track.
