Relax in this renovated stone farmhouse. This quiet, rural property featuring 2 queen beds on the main floor and 3 twin XL beds in the basement is perfect for a family, hunters, or group of friends. Refinished oak floors run throughout the main floor. The basement features a tile floor. With amenities like central AC & Heat, a washer & dryer, fully furnished kitchen, Dish Network TV, and a pool table, guests will feel right at home. The newly remodeled bathroom offers a large walk-in shower. Extra pillows, blankets, towels, and washcloths are provided. **There is no WiFi but cell reception is good for most major carriers.**

Start or end your day watching the sun rise and set in the Kansas countryside. See a deer, quail, or pheasant from the stone porch in this tranquil location. On a clear Kansas night, the property has excellent star gazing opportunities. Located 1/2 mile off pavement on a gravel rock road, visitors are 8 miles from Beloit, KS or 24 miles from Concordia, KS, both of which have amenities such as groceries, gas, and restaurants.

Hunting & Fishing - 30 minutes to Waconda Lake. 20 minutes to Jamestown Marsh.

Please NO PETS are allowed in the house. There is room for a kennel on the south and west facing outdoor stone porch and a large unfenced yard. Pets are the sole responsibility of the guest staying at the farmhouse.

Kansas plains homestead

Typical Kansas farmstead, but house was recently remodeled and done very well. Very country setting in the open plains. Grew up in the general area on a similar farm and loved the setting. Saw deer, pheasant and foxes on our stay.

We had a great stay. The place was exactly as described in the listing. Checkin/out was easy and stress free. The host was communicative when I had questions. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed to cook and make meals. I would have not hesitation recommending it to others. The only things that could have improved the stay would be to have wifi and possibly a table or dresser in the bedrooms as there was no place to placing items than on the floor. Thanks for a great stay.
