Just minutes from downtown Traverse City, Silver Oaks Resort offers the perfect combination of lakeside seclusion and convenient access to everything Northern Michigan has to offer. Five beautifully designed, free-standing cottages are tucked among oak-lined grounds along the shores of Silver Lake, creating a private setting for families, couples, and groups traveling together.



Our cottages range from two to four bedrooms and can be reserved individually or together for larger family and group stays. Maximum resort occupancy is 38 guests when accommodating a mix of adults and children; the property is not designed to accommodate 38 adults.



Silver Lake is known locally for its clear water, sandbars, swimming, boating, and fishing. Guests can enjoy our private lakefront, kayaks, paddleboards, and convenient on-site pontoon boat rentals.



Just minutes away, downtown Traverse City offers exceptional restaurants, boutiques, cafés, and local shops. The resort is also within easy reach of Lake Michigan beaches, Sleeping Bear Dunes, wineries, golf courses, casinos, and many of Northern Michigan's most popular destinations.



Silver Oaks Resort is designed for relaxing family and group getaways. Parties and events are not permitted without prior written approval.

This resort was absolutely stunning! The amenities were abundant and so appreciated. Every cottage was clean and had more than everything we could have wanted. The location is perfect, right in the lake while still close to town with plenty of activities. Sheena was fantastic with communication and tips for us. Our family would love to return soon!!!
