Very nice atmosphere with a beautiful view, it was nice and relaxing to sit in the back next to the creek. It is close to the down town to be able to walk around.
Enjoyed the cabin with water streaming by as we relaxed in the outdoor space. Truly a great "getaway" ezperience with the modern conveniences of home! Also in a great location, short walk to the shops and restaurants on Manitou Ave.
Property and location were great. The patio was really nice to sit and enjoy the creek. Kitchen was nice. The bed was ok, little uncomfortable but was decent for what it was. The room was comfortable temperature wise and the space had a cooling unit which was nice. Location was great, it was nice walking downtown in the morning.
Great property! We’ve stayed in Manitou a lot & we will be back to this cabin (or maybe the others on the property?) as it provides a nice combination of nature and town. It was great to park our car once & leave it all weekend as you are so close to everything in town. But you still get the quiet river vibe (I saw a bear in the river one morning!!). The Back yard space is shared as mentioned but it was easy get some solo time and when the neighbors were out, everyone was friendly and respectful. The cabin is older but very clean, nicely renovated and thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed for a mother/daughter getaway (the “twin bed” is a fold-up mattress for the floor but it was comfy for a 12 year old). Lovely cabin and great location.
Great stay and great location. I think ive stayed here 7 times now. Always a blast in Manitou.

Great little place. Clean, great location in Manitou, love the creek in the back patio. Perfect for two people, 3s a crowd. Will rent again when I visit family in Colorado.
Very nice cabin! The Fountain creek running through the back yard was fantastic! We spent allot of time out there just relaxing. We even had a deer stop by. One small issue was taken care of quickly. Great location.
We enjoyed our 2 night stay. It was just as advertised and we had plenty of room for the 2 of us. It was a short walk downtown to the shops and restaurants. We also got to see some deer from the back deck in the morning. Would definitely stay again if we’re in the area.
Cute, convenient and nicely decorated but third person has to sleep on the floor with a fold out pad. Not very suitable for older people.

It was a great little cabin. I was a bit confused as to which of the three we rented but figured it out. Very clean and updated. Close to lots of shopping and restaurants.

We recently stayed here during a trip to Manitou Springs. The location was excellent and within easy walking distance of downtown, which made it very convenient to explore the area without needing to drive. We also appreciated how quiet the property was, the private back patio, and having a dedicated parking spot.Unfortunately, there were several issues that affected our stay. The bed was extremely firm and uncomfortable for us. The biggest concern was a strong sewer smell that occurred whenever the shower was used. The odor would spread from the bathroom into the main room, which made it difficult to relax and enjoy the space. We also noticed that some of the pillows did not have pillow protectors or covers, and one of the pillows was torn, which did not give a clean or well-maintained impression. While we enjoyed the location and some of the amenities, the odor issue and overall comfort concerns were significant enough that we would likely choose a different place to stay on a future visit to Manitou Springs.

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed the location, quiet setting, private patio, and convenient access to downtown Manitou Springs.
We're sorry that the comfort of the bed was not what you were hoping for. The mattress was replaced within the last six months, but we understand that firmness preferences vary from guest to guest.
We also appreciate you bringing the sewer odor to our attention. This had not previously been reported, and we have already contacted a plumber to investigate and resolve the issue. We apologize for the inconvenience this caused during your stay.
Regarding the pillows, all of our pillows have been replaced recently, and we have followed up with our cleaning team after learning that one was damaged and missing a protector.
Thank you again for your feedback. It helps us continue improving the experience for future guests.

Vacation
The cabin is just wonderful. We had a great time and we would rent it again. The only thing that was missing was kitchen towels and dish washcloths. Other than that, it was perfect.
Thanks again!
Long four day weekend vacation. The location on this place is awesome, especially if you plan to stay within Manitou Springs most of the time. Short walking distance to all the shops and eating places. The Cog train station and pikes peak trail head 1 mi walking distance or may take the free shuttle there. Bus pick up is only about 4 minute walk. Cabin itself is nice, better for two people than three but still okay. Backyard is nice with the spring running by there. All in all, I recommend it.
Property was very easy to find. The second we opened the door you could smell how clean it was. The perfect amount of space for my daughter and I. Fresh linens and towels. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. We had an issue when we wanted to use the microwave and we were able to communicate with Paige easily. She responded within minutes to help us out. The patio space was an absolute delight. Besides an occasional louder vehicle passing by you wouldn't even know you were in town. And with 2 other cabins on the property we thought we may not have quite the privacy we wanted but it was absolutely perfect. We ran into our neighbors in passing only on 2 mornings and everyone was delightful. We would definitely come back. Thank you for the perfect stay! We will definitely be recommending you to others!

After Seth had retired from going to three Olympic games, we decided that we had more than sports and a love of fencing in common. Turns out, Seth and I have a passion for homes. We bought this home as a project to work on together after we had already completely remodeled another home. Turns out, remodeling a home and two cabins built in 1891 is a whole new level of difficult. But, we did it and this home is our labor of love!!We do hope you enjoy our recently finished product!
Why they chose this property
Both Seth and I LOVE Manitou Springs! Manitou is such a wonderful little town that really does a great job of providing fun activities and festivals year round. From Arts Festivals, to Marathons, to Coffin Races Manitou Springs is a happening place year round. What's more, we took one look at the creek and just how relaxing it was to sit and hear the sound of the water and enjoy the huge trees overhead while also being in the middle of town and we were all in!
What makes this property unique
It really is a special treat to be within walking distance to everything and yet feel as though you can get away from it all with just a short walk back to your home away from home.
