About this property

30 Min to Jackson Hole • Alpine Retreat • Hot Tub • Sleeps 12

Experience the best of Western Wyoming from Alpine — where adventure, scenery, and wide-open freedom meet.

Alpine sits at the gateway to some of the most iconic landscapes in the American West, just 30 minutes from Jackson, Wyoming and within easy driving distance to both Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park. You get all the access — without the congestion or price tag.

Summer here is unforgettable.

Launch your boat or kayak at Palisades Reservoir for glassy morning rides, wake surfing, paddleboarding, or peaceful sunset cruises. Spend the afternoon floating the Snake River, casting dry flies on the Salt River, or chasing trophy trout on the legendary Greys River — a true world-class fly fishing destination known for its scenic canyons and drift boat access.

Outdoor enthusiasts will find thousands of miles of trails to explore. Hike alpine ridgelines with sweeping mountain views, ride endless mountain biking routes, or take your ATV or side-by-side deep into public lands that stretch for miles in every direction. Wildlife sightings are common — moose, elk, deer, bald eagles, and more.

Hunters travel from across the country for the incredible public land access surrounding Alpine, offering some of the most sought-after big game opportunities in the West.

Scenic drives are everywhere — from the Snake River Canyon to high mountain passes — each offering breathtaking overlooks and photo opportunities that feel untouched and wild.

Rafting, whitewater, horseback riding, golf, farmers markets, local rodeos, wildlife tours, and endless backcountry exploration make this area a true four-season playground.

Whether you’re here for fishing, boating, hiking, biking, hunting, exploring national parks, or simply soaking in big Wyoming skies, Alpine offers the perfect basecamp for experiencing everything Western Wyoming is famous for.

Adventure during the day. Quiet mountain sunsets at night. This is why people vacation here.

We were more than happy with the accommodations. Everything about the Pine Ridge Lodge exceeded our expectations. Additionally, we appreciated Jarred (the host) and how well he communicated with us. There are more trips to Jackson Hole that we will need to take and, fingers-crossed, we'll be able to stay at the Pine Ridge Lodge.

We had a good time here. Highlights were the hot tub, great water pressure, never running out of hot water, tons of wood to burn in the fire pit, nice TV's, and lots of windows and fans to cool the place down. The kitchen was decent and well stocked. The interior and exterior finishes gives you the real cabin feel.

Very nice house

Very nice and comfortable place. Plenty of room to hang out. The hot tub was great after a long day riding snowmobiles.

Lovely stay in Alpine

The home was even better than the pictures provided. The location was perfect! It was at the mouth of the canyon heading to Jackson Hole, so made traveling to and fro easy. The owners were excellent at communicating and appreciated their assistance with directions and questions regarding the home. The home offered plenty of space for us and our children to relax and enjoy after coming in from our outdoor activities. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

Alpine getaway

Very clean and beautiful property. Had a slight hiccup with communication but the hosts were more than helpful with working through it. Would highly recommend.

The house itself is nice, our biggest issue was no A/C. The house would get pretty hot during the day even with fans on. Also we had a large group and didn’t have enough essentials for the duration of our stay. The weeds in the yard are completely over grown which led to lots of bugs and made it hard to enjoy being outdoors with the kids. We did love the location and how easy it was to access the activities we wanted to do.

Thank you for your feedback, Joshua. We appreciated the opportunity to host your group and are glad you enjoyed the location and found it convenient for your planned activities. We understand that the lack of air conditioning may have been uncomfortable during your stay. As noted in our listing, our home — like most in Alpine — does not have A/C due to our mild climate, with only a short stretch of warmer weather each year. We do provide multiple fans and recommend closing windows and blinds in the early morning to help maintain cooler indoor temperatures. We’re sorry to hear you felt understocked on supplies. We do provide starter quantities of essentials such as towels, toilet paper, paper towels, dish pods, laundry pods, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and coffee for guest convenience, and we’re always happy to provide clarification or assistance during your stay if something additional is needed. As for the yard, our property borders the Targhee National Forest and features native Wyoming landscaping — which can include natural grasses and seasonal insects, especially during peak summer months. That said, we’ll take your comments into consideration as we work to continually improve the guest experience. Thank you again for staying with us, and we wish you and your family all the best in your future travels.
