Wonderful neighborhood, great host. We were there for March madness, and it was walkable to the enterprise center. My son loved the media room, also for March madness, and we loved the style of the house in the patio. Will definitely stay here again!
Wonderful location very near lafayette square park. beautiful historic home. Our only complaints are the banister is loose and shaky and the stereo in the movie room does not work. Otherwise a wonderful property.
We met some out of town family members for a concert at the Stifel and this beautiful home was perfect for our Staycation. Easy access to downtown and walkable to a number of good restaurants and bars AND Clemintines Icecream!!
We had a great stay at this awesome historic home. I particular loved how it felt like going back in time with the era decorations.Communication and check-in were most excellent. I would stay here again for sure.
Our family really enjoyed this house. The location is ideal for all the tourist attractions. The house was clean, well-stocked and had tons of charm! Highly recommended.
Beautiful historic home with some modern updates. Back deck is great for relaxing with a morning coffee or glass of wine in the evening. Neighborhood is very walkable with some restaurants and coffee shops close by. Hostess is super nice. Would visit again.
We loved our stay. Beautiful home near some wonderful restaurants. Anywhere we wanted to go was within walking distance or 15 minute drive from here. Highly recommend!
Ck in easy, the house was top notch supplied with anything we would need to cook, bathe, sleep sound and well - The just gave us great dining recommendations and info regarding the home and neighborhood ,, The house is just lovely and just the right touch of gleem and glam for a memorable stay- we hope to be back !! We 100% recommend!!
This was a great place for our family for a short stay in St. Louis. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful, with nearby places to eat. The house is spacious and has a wonderful sense of history.
We had a wonderful stay. Great place. Bedroom/bathroom layout was a little odd on the second floor and may not work for some groups. Bedrooms are all connected with the only bathroom on that floor between two of the bedrooms. Second full bathroom was on the first floor.
Rarely do I think a place may be under priced, but this house and location were truly lovely and a bargain as priced today. We are all excited to return later this year.
We live in St. Louis County, and were having a Staycation after my company Holiday party. We are also are beginning to look for a VRBO property in the area.
Our family (5 adults) used this proprty as our base to explore St. Louis. Great neighborhood (walked to dinner one night) with easy acess to Busch Stadium and Union Station (less than 10 minutes to each). Susan greeted us at the property and gave us a quick tour of things and we were on our way. Wonderful weekend and a great lodging experience!
Lovely historic home in beautiful neighborhood. Very responsive and accommodating host. My family was very comfortable during our stay.

Why they chose this property
I love older homes and this house has so much character, is nestled in St. Louis' premier historic neighborhood, sits on a quiet street, and is close to downtown.
