The living area is great for get-togethers. The large fenced in backyard was also nice. We had a fire in the fire pit and roasted marshmallows. My only complaint is that the kitchen only has very basic supplies. We purchased a corkscrew and some plastic wine glasses. No hand mixer or other small appliances. There was a coffee maker that worked well and was much appreciated! This is not really a complaint, but a suggestion - a couple of throws on the couch would be nice for snuggling in the winter months. Contact with the owner was easy and he responded quickly. Would highly recommend, especially for the price! Clean and convenient to walking downtown and to the local park.

Great house in a fantastic location. It was perfect for the baseball tournament we were there for in Emerson and surrounding towns. House was clean with upgrades. WiFi was great. Acworth has some great restaurants and a nice downtown.

Verify before putting in your down payment

I communicated with the corporation that owns this home about a month before I needed it. In my text through VRBO, I was very clear that I needed it around noon due to coming to the area specifically for a doctors appointment. They immediately responded and said that’s not a problem so I reserved the property. A few hours later, they amended their initial promise and stated you could only have an early check-in if it wasn’t rented out the day before. They absolutely refused to honor their initial promise, and my down payment was already made.Fast-forward to the week before my rental, they reached out and let me know. I could rent it the day before for a discounted rate. In order to ensure that I could get the early check-in, it made sense, especially if it was a discounted rate! I thought this was a really amazing thing to offer a person. Except, you get charged for another booking fee, making the cost of that extra day almost the same as any other. I went to Atlanta to see a medical specialist, and this corporation made themselves/my lodging the most stressful aspect of the entire trip. Bravo!! I understand having policies in place and not promising early check-in’s or late checkouts, but once you stay in writing that it can/will happen, at least honor your promise. Property: cobwebs inside just about every room, otherwise relatively clean. No blow dryer. Beware the fees - they even tack on a linen fee.
