This uniquely charming getaway is also conveniently situated a mere 10-minute drive from both Livingston Manor and Roscoe, making it an ideal retreat for those looking to explore the scenic beauty and small towns of the area.

Laurel Lodge combines old-world charm with Catskill Mountain beauty. Built on a 19th-century church site, it was expanded in 1924 by writer John Taintor Foote, who penned A Wedding Gift, a fly-fishing classic, and other beloved novels of the time. Now owned by his descendants, the home retains most of the original furnishings and fixtures. As a guest, one has the rare opportunity to experience life as it might have looked in the 1920s. A caretaker lives on the property in a building set well apart from the main house.

Great home close to Livingston Manor. Well maintained and beds were comfortable. Plenty of bedding and towels and easy check in / out process.
