(700 square foot country cottage located on our home property.) (We don't disturb our guests)
Located 400 feet from the road in a very safe area.

~Open Queen Suite and Extra Queen Bedroom.
~Big bathroom with JACUZZI Tub, 48in stall shower (with seat in corner)
~Tankless hot water!
~Dimmable recessed lighting throughout cottage for a romantic feel.

~Chairs and dimmable front porch lighting for nights and lit parking.
~Private Gas Fire Pit for roasting marshmallows on lazy evenings! (Burns clean with no smoke and no sparks)

Come relax and enjoy our quiet country cottage!

☆ Put your boat overboard at the boat ramp half a mile down the road from our location which is the Perquimans River.

☆ Visit the Nicholson House Restaurant (0.5 miles) for some laid back country cooking. They have a nice gift shop too! (Closed Sunday and Monday)

☆ Also check out Layden's Country Store near the restaurant for a back in time shopping experience! Hoop Cheese and Fresh cut meat! People come from miles around to shop there! Gas is available as well.

☆ Dollar General in Winfall for quick items. 8 minutes away.

After a long day sight seeing, you will love getting away from it all in your own little cottage in the trees!

The most perfect weekend spot!

Quiet -!: thoughtfully appointed nest

Everything we need away from home is in this spacious cottage. The unit is decorated nicely with plenty of natural light. We were comfortable and appreciated having laundry since we were here several days of outdoor activities. The place is spotless.

Weekend to Edenton

We stayed here 4 years ago when I was working nearby. We loved it so much we wanted to come back and do it for fun. The property and owners did not disappoint. A great place to stay for a quiet weekend. Parking is great, wifi is great, property was beyond clean when we arrived. It will probably be another 4 years but I would definitely stay here again and again.

A Cozy Stay

A beautiful well kept cottage in NC. Everything was very clean and beautiful. The host Allison was very communicative and reachable every step of the process. She even went above and beyond and had something very special and detailed when we arrived since it was my fiancé’s bday. I would highly recommend this cottage. Delightful Stay

Pinewoods cottage was cozy, well-appointed, and sparkling clean. It's across a parking area from the hosts' house, but we didn't ever meet them and felt quite private. We cooked our dinners and found all the pans, utensils etc. that we needed. A bonus for us older folks was the textured shower floor, a great safety feature. hostess Allison gave us several good tips about local places to visit in response to our questions. All in all, a happy experience.

Quiet country setting with every amenity you will need for a weekend or, as in my case, a month-long stay. Ali and Boots are very nice people that are attentive to questions or requests but otherwise leave you alone. Comfy beds and furniture, fully stocked kitchen, new washer and dryer are standout amenities, but nothing about this property is 2nd rate. Lighted seating area behind the cottage was enjoyed on a daily basis. If you need a wonderful place to stay in this area, stay here. And it's cheaper than the Hampton Inn in Edenton with so much more to offer. Can't say enough good things about this property or the Owners!

This tiny house is adorable! They are the most kid and baby friendly place I have ever been to. They have kids toys, games, utensils, dishes, a high chair, and, outside, a play set. I was very impressed. The house is super cute. It comes with a full kitchen (completely stocked), dining area, washer, dryer, an awesome Jacuzzi tub, a shower, two very comfortable beds, a couch, tv, and movies. It is a wonderful little place to stay!! The only thing I was disappointed about is the actual rooms themselves. There are not two bedrooms. There is a very nice bedroom, an awesome bathroom (washer and dryer inside), and another big room. Inside that big room are four distinct sections: the kitchen, the dining area, a bed and chest, and the living area (a couch, tv, and movies. It is a super nice place and I would definitely go back! Loved it! Allison was wonderful to work with! I was just a bit surprised to find only one bedroom.

This space and location was unbelievably peaceful yet around enough to do with some short drives. Hiking, Canoeing, Kayaking, beach and food not to far off. Be sure to look at the recommendations on the fridge! Host are wonderful!

We only stayed 3 days, but they were so peaceful we wished it had been longer. It was so quiet and comfortable here! The kitchen had everything we needed and even more! We are a family of 5. Floyd grew up in Belvidere and I (Allison) was born in GA. We were married in 2000 and cleared the lot given to us by Floyds Father. We put a home on the 20 acre piece. We built the cottage in the side yard for family when they travel here to visit and then decided to share it with guests. We enjoyed building it and look forward to sharing it with others! All wood, cathedral ceilings, walls and floor are wood, cork, and laminate. No carpet here for allergies to stir up!

Sit on the front porch and read a book in our Rocking Chair. Catch up on your favorite shows or movies. Go a half a mile to the country style restaraunt with nice gift shop inside a historic home. Visit the country store as well, where they still have hoop cheese and cut fresh meat to order! (Featured in OUR STATE Magazine)We are set back in time! No rush here! Just relax!
