Welcome to The Perch—your elevated lakefront retreat on Cheniere Lake. Relax on the deck, fire up the grill, or cast a line and catch a fish—all just steps from the back door. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful getaway or outdoor adventure, this 4-bedroom, 2-bath home offers the perfect setting for families and friends to relax, recharge, and explore the great outdoors. Need to work while you are here? We’ve got fast WiFi, charging stations, and plenty of spaces to connect.

The Space
Enjoy your morning coffee on the open deck as ducks, turtles, and songbirds pass by. Inside, relax in a comfortable space with thoughtful touches throughout.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was very nice and very clean and comfortable with lots of room and it was stocked with everything we needed! The view was amazing! We had a great relaxing time and were a short drive from all the places we needed and wanted to visit. Wonderful place!

Our family is from Ouachita Parish and moved into this home in 2002. We raised our three sons here before returning to Active Duty military service in 2009. Now retired, we are embracing a new chapter in life. We want to share our special place with others and hope you love it as much as we do.

The Perch is located directly on the banks of Cheniere Lake in a quiet neighborhood. It offers a serene setting with beautiful views of the lake and wildlife all while “perched” on the 12ft by 20ft deck.
