Historic Mansion Apartment | 2BR with Updated Amenities
Most places you stay are forgettable by the time you hit the highway home. This one's a little harder to shake.
The apartment sits inside the McCulloch Mansion, a Fort Wayne landmark that's been standing since 1843. It's been renovated without losing the bones that make it worth noticing — and staying on the ground floor means you settle in fast and leave without the hassle.
Two bedrooms, two queen beds, room for four, and enough space that people aren't constantly in each other's way.
Mornings here have a way of slowing down. Coffee's ready when you are, the kitchen is stocked for anyone who actually wants to cook, and there's no pressure to be anywhere.
When you do head out, Promenade Park is a short walk away — a riverfront spot that tends to hold people longer than they expected.
The Landing is close enough for a casual dinner or a drink that turns into two, and the whole neighborhood moves at a pace that makes it genuinely easy to unwind.
Come back to in-unit laundry, a dedicated workspace if the trip has a little business mixed in, and two beds that are hard to leave in the morning. It's comfortable in a way that feels effortless — like someone actually thought about what you'd need.
By the time you're packing up, you'll already be thinking about when you can come back.

The place is clean but some of the decor seems poor quality for the price. The host/company was very responsive and helpful. Great space wise and in a good location convenient to downtown, and lots of nearby shops/ food places.
The property was great. The check in was a bit difficult as the code didn’t work and took a bit to get it fixed but was great after that. We enjoyed our stay.
Had a wonderful stay! Check-in was easy and fast. The apartment was spacious and well stocked with necessities for a comfortable stay. Photos were descriptive. It is a historic house, so it is easy to hear other guests and the floors creek in some areas. 10/10 would stay again.
It was great but could not get back in after 9 am after scraping my car from the huge storm. Luckily I left my bags in the lobby!! Homeless was downstairs and let me in to the loopy. There could have been some snow removal. My car got stuck in the terrible snow in tthe parking area. No attention to those details. It’s winter.

Thank you for the feedback. We’re sorry for the inconvenience you experienced with the storm and access after 9am. Checkout time does limit re-entry, but we understand how the weather made things more challenging. We’re reviewing snow removal procedures to improve during winter conditions. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
A more interesting place to stay than a boring hotel room. We stayed for a hockey tournament in Ft. Wayne. Having a kitchen was useful for saving some money vs. eating out. Check-in instructions were nicely done. A few things needed addressing with the unit, but communication was great with host. The place has an interesting past... registered as historic on the national registry. The pictures show it in its best form. Gave owner some feedback of some simple fix items that need addressing and he was receptive and thankful for the suggestions. Location was convenient for us, but more commercial than serene as one might have envisioned. A bit of wear and tear that seemed guest related, but all in all a good value.
