English below. Nous sommes Aurelie et Matthieu, couple français vivant près de Lausanne avec nos deux enfants. Nous sommes heureux de partager cet appartement avec des voyageurs voulant découvrir la vallée D’illiez en été comme en hiver. La vallée offre des activités sans nombre en toute saison en été vous aurez accès à la piscine de champery, au train à crémaillère vers champery (gare à 8 minutes à pied), gratuitement grâce aux “multipass”. Randonnées , vtt, repas en ferme d’alpage, accrobranche, parapente… ski, raquettes, … cette vallée est splendide et vous charmera.

Based in Lausanne, originally from France, and New Zealand , Matthieu and Aurélie are happy to share our mountain appartement with travellers wanting to discover this fantastic area.

L’accès à l’appartement est possible en train (1h depuis Aigle), via la gare du Fayot à 8 minutes à pied. Les trains circulent tard dans la nuit 1 fois par heure. Une place de parc est aussi disponible au pied de l’appartement. 45 minutes de Lausanne en voiture.
Accès au village à pied ( ça monte) pour la boulangerie, petit supermarché, cafés restaurants, via des chemins avec vue sur les dents du midi.
Accès à Champery en train, ou à pied le long de la rivière.

Access and locations are great.
45 minutes drive from Lausanne, also accessible by train, correspondance in Aigle and then 1 hour train ride to Val D’illiez Fayot.
The train stop is less than 10 min walk from the apartment.
Trains run till late every evening, all year long.

L’appartement est très confortable, équipé , avec chauffage central pour l’hiver, cave pour les skis. La cuisine est compacte mais fonctionnelle, appareil à raclette, fondue. A l’étage, télé et dvds, livres, jeux, pas de wifi, moquette dans les chambres mansardées. Attention, certains espaces sont un peu bas.
Les escaliers n’ont pas de protection d’un côté, peut être pas adapté aux parents de très jeunes enfants.
Vous pourrez séjourner confortablement à 5 ou 6 personnes maximum.

The appartement is very comfortable, with central heating, carpet floors in the rooms.
Kitchen is well equipped, fondue and raclette equipment included.
Note that the second floor is an attic space , very cosy and enjoyable for children, however a bit low in places for adults.
There are several living spaces upstairs, downstairs and large sleeping rooms making it suitable for up to 5 people.
