We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Everything was in good condition and matched the pics/description of the listing. Since it was a January stay - many of the neighboring cabins were not occupied - which was a bonus for us. We enjoyed the close proximity to the Parkway. The 3 TVs were all smart TVs that let us easily sign into streaming services. The bed was comfortable and the hot tub on the back deck was enjoyable as well. Our only (minor) critiques of the property are: 1) the couch in the living room has very worn-down seating cushions 2) indoor jacuzzi had dozens of dead gnats/flies that had settled in the jets -so when we filled it up and turned on the jets - dead bugs spilled out into the (only lukewarm) water & we had to drain it without using. But overall this stay was well worth the for us!
The cabin itself was so cute and we loved it. To make a long story short, the outside hot tub was empty and the motor was running, hose not long enough to reach tub to refill it, contacted mgmt, the said we could go to another cabin to get another hose, we just drove 600 miles and refused to go find another hose, shouldn't be our responsibility, husband next morning went and got another hose, filled the tub, checked it, emptied again, husband figured out the valve was open, filled it, waited, water never heated. Motor burned out. Discovered fireplace wouldn't lite and hot water tank didn't heat water...3 strikes you're out¡ Complained to mgmt once again and finally we decided to move to a working cabin. Thr new cabin was nicer than the first one and everything worked. We shouldn't have had to gone through everything we did, cabin should've been checked and fixed prior to our arrival. Also, there should be manuals in every cabin explaining how everything works, just my suggestion.
