Comfortable, clean, peaceful

We were only able to stay for one night but we loved the place! It was very clean, comfortable and we appreciated the coffee provided and amenities. The highland cows are adorable. We hope to stay here again soon!

The actual inside of the property was great, but it was the drive there that was terrible. We arrived at night which did not help. We had to go down a narrow gravel road out in the boonies to get there. It was also hard to see the gates & opening them, etc. If you do choose this place, please make sure you arrive during the daytime. Luckily we had good weather- if not, we probably would have turned around & drove back into town for a hotel.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience—we truly appreciate your honest feedback. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the inside of the property, though we're genuinely sorry that the journey in and the timing of your arrival made things difficult. Our location is intentionally secluded to offer guests a peaceful, private retreat away from the noise and stress of town life. That serenity does come with a bit of a trade-off, especially when arriving after dark. We always recommend arriving during daylight hours to make the drive smoother and the gate easier to navigate, and we’ll continue working on improving visibility and signage to help future guests. It’s unfortunate that your trip was cut short and you didn’t get the chance to fully enjoy the property—we would have loved for you to experience the tranquility and comfort it offers once settled in. We hope you’ll consider giving it another try in the future, perhaps with a daytime arrival and more time to relax. -Warm regards.
