The Tod Mansion built in 1955 is located on over 100 Acre Private Estate surrounded by wooded areas with walking and hiking trails. The Mansion sleeps 16 with 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. Full Kitchen, screened-in porch and more.

We purchased the Tod Mansion to be included the privacy of 3 unique properties within the 100 acre Estate. Our goal is to share our Mansion properties as a gathering place for all to celebrate the legacy of family and the importance of spending time together and making memories that span generations: with hiking, long talks, long walks and plenty of fun for all!

We wanted to offer a place where groups of all kinds could recharge, relax and renew. It may be a marriage that needs a boost, a men’s or ladies group that needs to connect, or even a staff meeting that needs a new environment to get those creative juices flowing! Come relax and unwind at The Tod Mansion.

Todd Mansion

Very nice property for large family gathering to celebrate my mothers 90th birthday and Christmas. Well stocked kitchen, with 2 kitchens made the food preparation easy. Comfortable and roomy bedrooms with individual bathrooms made it comfortable for our family to spend time together. I would highly recommend this property for large groups or families. Management company was very helpful and accommodating.

Priceless Memories. Amazing!

Wow! We are blessed beyond measure with our stay at this historical and breadth taking mansion! We were afforded memories in this gorgeous home for Christmas! Every inch of this home is well maintained. Every single item we needed to feel right at home during our week stay was right at our finger tips. Our family gathering was made more special by being able to feel at home in such a warm, extremely well maintained and gorgeous home! The entire home was so comfortable...especially the beds! The weather was 10 degrees and freezing but never once did we feel any cold in this 3 story home. Not one inch of this home was not well built or well maintained. We found it hard to believe the condition of this home was as emasculate as it was. But, it was!! All we had to do was turn the key and RELAX! We enjoyed the snow covered grounds and views from every window. We hope and pray we can return each year to enjoy more memories. The hosts and owner of the mansion were more than accommodating and gracious! The owner JV greeted us at the home and gave us a tour sincerely desiring that we felt at home! All hosts were responsive and sincere. We were blessed beyond measure. We had to keep pinching ourselves because it was almost like we were dreaming!

I booked the Tod Mansion in March for my family Thanksgiving reunion from Nov 24th through Nov 28th. The Tod Mansion was beautiful, the beds were comfortable, and overall we enjoyed our stay spending time with many family members from across the USA. We had five kids, 15 Adults, who stayed comfortably at the Tod Mansion. In addition, we had 18 local family members that came over for thanksgiving day. My initial impression of the owner Bill (J.V. Ferrara), was good. After booking the place in March, I was able to walk through the home while visiting family nearby in April, and we were able to check-in early. PROBLEMS / CONCERNS Privacy: Without knowledge or information, my family informed me that the property had active cameras pointing at the outside and the screened-in patio areas. In addition, The owner Bill (JV Ferrara), was spotted twice during our stay walking around the home at night. Advertised but off-limits in the home: Fireplaces and balcony Advertised but not there Condiments Enough large pans They left a limited supply of these, and we had to purchase more: large trash bags Toilet paper Other concerns: There was rat fesses under the couch cushions in the basement. Finally Trash was supposed to be placed in bins in the garage. However, we had to bring the three trash bins in from the end of the driveway to the garage to use as requested. In addition, all of the bins were overflowing by the end of our stay, and we left one bag of trash in the kitchen trash can instead of placing it on the garage floor. Bill (The owner) stated, "we left trash in the home," still waiting on a clarification response from him. Seriously!!!

Thanksgiving at the Tod Mansion

We had a wonderful time. There was lots of space for our 23 person group along with outside area for the kids. They jumped in the leaves and climbed a tree for fun along with a surprise ping pong table. The large kitchen island was perfect for dinner prep as well as breakfast buffet. We had a wonderful time! Great place for a large group

JV and his staff were great to work with, and very friendly. The house was very spacious with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. There are multiple beds in every bedroom which made it convenient for families. There are also 2 kitchens with multiple refrigerators and dishwashers, so we had plenty of space for everyone to keep their food and clean up was a breeze.

My name is J V Ferrara. I have lived my entire life in the Greater Youngstown & Warren Ohio area. I moved into the Chalet in 1978 and have purchased the other mansion over the course of time. We have 4 mansions and a Carriage House that can accommodate from 2 up to 36 under one roof. I graduated from Brookfield HS and attended John Carroll University in the East side of Cleveland. I currently live in Hubbard, Ohio Trumbull County.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this property from the Tod Estate. We wanted to keep the Estate with our Chalet and Carriage House under our control as we raised our family. We used the home to help area pastors transition as they came into the area.
