House was large and adequate space. Needs some TLC. Was disappointed the hot tub was no longer in service for our stay. Home sleeps 12 but only has 4 coffee cups, 5 bowls and 4 plates. We had 9 adults who drink coffee and needed to eat dinner there. One bathroom is located in the basement which is rather cold in the winter time and had some very friendly spiders. Screen door handle fell off while taking out the garbage, kitchen sink faucet was hanging on by a thread, no blinds or privacy in the top floor windows and a beautiful deck on the house that had soft spots and wood rot. The cleaning crew needs to clean the blinds or they need replaced. I think the house is a work in progress and will be gorgeous when completed. Beds were comfortable. Location was convenient with adequate stores all around. The host was wonderful and very attentive to my emails and timely with his response. Kitchen really needs more dishes, pots and pans. Host provided an ample amount of garbage bags, paper towels, toilet paper, dish detergent and linens. If you are looking for a large home to sleep in and not cook for a crowd, this home will be perfect.
The property was pretty enchanting right from the start. It's this beautiful, old 1919 home with just the right mix of vintage features and modern enhancements. The location was awesome in between two freeway systems that got us very easily to every where we wanted to go north, south, east, or west of Akron. The beds were super comfortable. In fact my wife wants to find the same mattress for home. We had a couple of small housekeeping misses but the property manager was super quick to rectify them for us. The one bummer, and the only reason I didn't give 5 stars, was that the hot tub was out of order so we didn't get to take advantage of that during our stay, but that will definitely be a bonus for anyone else who stays here in the future. The neighborhood is delightful and great for evening walks. Overall it was an awesome little property and we had a nice time there. I'd definitely consider staying there again in the future.
