Home is being RENTED AS FULLY FURNISHED. Beds for sleeping 11 people include: Queen (4), Double (1), and Twin (1). Dishware, silverware, and linens are included in the rent. House is available for daily rental. But also property is perfect for someone who is relocating to the area or for someone displaced from fire, flood, or their own home renovations. Owner is an insurance agent and Realtor willing to work with others due to insurance claim losses. Home has close access to interstate highways such as PA Turnpike, Routes 81, 83, 11 & 15. This makes for an easier commute to areas such as Harrisburg (15 min.), Hershey (35 min.), York (40min.), Gettysburg (50 min.), Lancaster (55 min.), Baltimore (1.5 hr), Philadelphia (2 hr.), etc. The Armitage Golf Course (open year-round) and Caddy Shack eatery (closed Dec. 1 to Feb. 29th) are a 2-minute walk away across the street. Residents receive discounts at the golf course and township owned pool. Excellent hospitals and other medical care are within 10 minutes via UPMC West Shore Hospital, Penn State Hampden Medical Center, and Holy Spirit Hospital. Subletting is prohibited. Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
The cleaner will arrive at 10:00 AM to prepare the house for the next guests.
To lock the front door, just tap the LCD screen of smart lock.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Put trash bags in can in garage. Do not put recycling into plastic bags. Put cans to street by Friday AM, but Saturday if holiday week.
Clean up after your pet has done their business outside. Clean up bags are in the pantry. Put used animal clean up bags in the trash can in garage.
Run dishwasher before leaving. DW detergent is under the sink. Once dishes and utensils are clean, please store them in their normal cabinets.

Great home with great location and easy access to restaurants, stores and interstate. Ross is a wonderful host and very responsive. The property was clean and offered everything I needed for a long stay. My dogs loved the large backyard with privacy fence. I would definitely come back again!

My family of 5 and our dog stayed over a long weekend in order to ski at Roundtop. This was a great landing place with lots of couch space and a very well stocked kitchen. My family which includes 3 in their 20s appreciated that everyone had their own bedroom with very comfortable beds and took advantage of the stock of board games at the house. My sons also play piano to unwind and were pleased to be able to play here. Overall a great place and we would stay again.

The house was very neat and clean. The rooms were well furnished and there was plenty of room in the common spaces to spread out and and relax comfortably after a day of skiing. Our host Ross was incredibly kind and responsive during the booking process as well as check-in and check out. The house is dog friendly and has a very nice fenced yard. The property was gracious enough to provide bags to clean up after our doggo. My family felt like we were staying at a home away from home and everyone is already asking if we can book this house again for our ski trip next year.

Ross & Joy are hosts. Ross is an insurance agent & property investor. Joy is an actively registered occupational therapist. We built the house with lots of sweat equity in 1992. We raised our 2 boys there, who are now married with their own children. We have many fond memories there over the years. This includes leading out of the basement a puppet and performing arts group affiliated with church that would tour locally and nationally. But now we spend much our time taking care of elderly parents.

Why they chose this property

We love the area because it is centrally located. The neighbors are very friendly. We also love the fact the house is a 2-minute walk to the golf course across the street.
