This place was great! We enjoyed the unique design of everything. The cabin has lots of interesting repurposed materials. The place was clean and cozy. The beds and bedding were comfortable. The kitchen was simple but functional. The campground was interesting as well. We went in the winter but the beach and playground looked great. Even in the cold, our kids got out to run around and play on the playground. We would stay again for sure!
It was a perfect place. The people were friendly. And great town. Lots of things to check out and the town had places to eat. Only thing as we didn’t know there wasn’t a stove. So no baking any thing. But we made it work with the hot place and toaster oven. Highly recommend!!!!
The price was right! This simple “cabin” was a great location for our friends to visit Blue Mounds State Park. Super simple “glamping” cabin at the campground. It needs a few more basics, but I think the are new and assume they’ll outfit the place with the following: pot, cutting board, strainer, coat hooks, towel hooks, curtains in bedroom, nightstands, lamps. That should help make it more cozy and functional. We would stay again for the price.

Property was cute. There were only 3 of us, the description said sleeps 8 which it did but as far as seating and eating supplies it was very limited. And only 2 couches. The upper deck had no seating or table to use so pretty much not usable. The raw wood trim. Are group were 62, 67, and 70 very fit active people. None of us felt comfortable coming down the stairs due to the uneven width of the treads and no actual easy to hang onto hand rail. Very treacherous coming down at night. Also did not have enough towels for 8 people. A sauce pan would have been nice to use on the hot plate. The town and location next to the trail were awesome!

This was a decent cabin, but guests had mixed feelings about the accessibility and comfort of the place. The senior women in our party were uncomfortable with descending the stairs from the 2nd floor and wished there had been railings on both sides for safety. They opted to sleep downstairs but did not end up folding out the couches because they weren't clean inside. A few other issues of note: the lack of bedside tables and lamps in the bedrooms - there were no good places to put things (which is probably why we found other guests' lost toothbrushes under the beds) and with just an overhead light not super cozy / conducive to winding down. It was also very noisy our first night. I get that Saturday nights can be like that, but having loud music with bass pumping until well after midnight is still unpleasant when you're trying to sleep. The bathroom situation was okay - the water really gets everywhere with the walk-in shower and we had to use dish soap from the kitchen to wash our hands, but everything worked out. Finally, the window in the upstairs bedroom leaked rainwater during the storm - might be something to look into to prevent damage to the wood! That about sums it up. To her credit, our host Tracy was very nice and responsive, so we are grateful to her. Hoping our review is helpful feedback. Thank you!

We had a great time, the property didn't have a stove or pots/pans, but we improvised. We would stay again knowing how better to prepare!
This place was perfect for our family! The kids loved having a playground and beach right there. We were big fans of all the sleeping accommodations and the space. We have friends in Luverne and we will definitely stay here again for our next trip. Only recommendation would be to get a curtain on the upstairs door window. The sunshine in the AM had the kids up early.
