Stayed on the property for 8 days with 2 friends. The area was gorgeous with Town Lake literally at your front door. The house was well kept and very well stocked for all our needs. Site even has satellite TV and good internet connection.
The owner was very responive with contacting us and I highly recommend it to any sportsman or vacationers!
By far the best place you can stay while hunting in the area. Free to enjoy yourself without the hassle of a hotel.

Great Time!
We came to the area for the Juke Joint Blues Festival. The lodge was almost an hour away, but we really didn’t mind the drive at all. We were very comfortable in the warm and casually decorated lodge. The owner was very thoughtful and kept us informed of potential driving issues due to the storms and heavy rains. We plan on coming back and highly recommend The property owned by John King.

Perfect place to stay to put a hunting trip over the top
The house is very comfortable. Our group of 9 was very comfortable the whole time. John the host quickly responded to any and all questions very quickly. We will definitely stay again for the next conservation season. The mud room has water racks to dry out after rinsing off from a long day in the mud from all the rain that flooded much of the area.

Country living with city comforts
Great cabin with all the creature comforts of home. Has a great view and extra features like a firepit outdoora. Great fishing available walking distance to a lake. We stayed 10 days and didn't miss home!
