Marriott's Timber Lodge is located within Heavenly Village in the heart of Lake Tahoe's South Shore. Enjoy the awe-inspiring views of Lake Tahoe while riding up the resort’s gondola to your favorite ski runs, where majestic mountains and endless outdoor excursions create an idyllic year-round escape. You'll be at the center of picturesque adventure, yet close enough to return to all the comforts of home.

Just steps away from the Marriott's Timber Lodge is one of the world's largest gondolas, ready to whisk you to the top of Heavenly Mountain, where you’ll find the longest ski run and the greatest vertical drop in the area.

Dedicated golfers can enjoy several challenging area courses. Leisure activities are unlimited at Lake Tahoe, where a new adventure unfolds each season.

The villa is spacious, comfortably elegant, and fully equipped. The open-plan kitchen/dining/living room is perfect for family meals and relaxing at the end of the day. The well-equipped high-end kitchen boasts granite counter tops & contemporary appliances along with a washer and dryer. Retreat to the master suite where you’ll find a king-sized bed, luxurious Jacuzzi tub, double sinks, and separate shower. There are separate living and sleeping areas, which provide ample space for your whole family or group. All the creature comforts of home including Flat Screen TVs and Marriott's sumptuous King sized 'Halo' beds. Includes queen-sized convertible sofas. 2BR will sleep up to eight persons.

Relax for some Après Ski at the resort recreation area complete with a large heated pool and 4 outdoor whirlpool spas. Take in commanding views of the majestic Lake Tahoe as you soak in the sparkling outdoor pool or unwind in the whirlpool or sauna after a full day of outdoor activity.

The property was in a convenient and beautiful location. Everything we needed was within walking distance. The property was well managed with clean and well stocked rooms. We enjoyed the pool and listening to the music on weekends from the balcony. Highly recommend.

My family of 6 including 4 adult children stayed at this property and it was excellent. It was very clean and it was a nice setup to hang out after dinner. The kitchen was well stocked and it is nice being in a hotel where you can ask questions of the concierge. The gondola and restaurants, bars and shops are right out the back door. My only issue is that the gondola was only running for 1.5 days of our stay which has nothing to do the with the owner. If you are skiing Heavenly, it is a great place to stay.

Our stay was great! Room was spacious and clean. The location is perfect for access to the town and the proximity to gondola. Only warning, we stayed for 7 days and could only use the gondola twice due to closures for wind. We got the impression this is not unusual for closures to occure. If your hoping to ski, have a backup plan for how to get to the slopes. Shuttle lines can be long.

Pure Perfection

Pros: clean, comfortable, properly is spotless with so much to do. Close to restaurants, bars, music and shopping. Great management and always quick to respond to requests. I will definitely stay here again. Cons: valet should be included in the price of rental. I also encountered a rude valet lady when I explained I had not received her text, all other valets were very nice and efficient. However, there is a 25 hour parking garage nearby for $25 vs $39

Wow! You can't get closer to the gondola! It's right outside the property doors with ski valet right there as well! Or you can simply use the included locker rooms. The room itself was surprisingly large with all all you need for good home-cooked meals! Their car valet system is pretty good too where you simply click a few buttons on your phone and are notified when your car is ready. If you're traveling with children, there are many activities for them as well! Worried if this splace is right for you? Shoot them a question! The management company (travelscowt) is extremely responsive!

Great Stay

Marriott Vacation Club properties are great especially near ski resorts. This property was clean and the location was perfectly located to the gondola and a lot of great eateries. Our check in was delayed but it was a busy Saturday. Some reviews mentioned it being loud but in my experience, this was mostly outside either near the hot tub or out in the nearby village where they had quite an array of fire pits set up for outdoor drinks. Staff was very helpful. They made restaurant reservations for us. Also, while sometimes talking to someone is better than texting, the texting options for contact were efficient and easily done when out of the hotel. I had an emergent situation where valuable jewelry fell down a sink and the maintenance staff, Alfredo, was up to the room immediately to retrieve my item. The staff was quick to follow up on this emergency too. Would definitely recommend to others.
