Unfortunately when we arrived at the property the rental host contacted us that there was no power in the house and that there would be no power for at least 3 days. So, she did provide an alternate rental that was very nice but we had no advance information on the new rental. Hence, the ratings that I gave were only good and not excellent. The new rental doubled our travel time to a local Gem, Rock, Fossil and Mineral Show where we were vendors, thus causing an unexpected inconvenience that we were not expecting. The new rental was very nice, but as a senior citizen with minor mobility issues I did have some issues. First, there were no outside railings at either entrance. The front door steps were especially difficult because of the irregular height of each step. I needed to hold onto the house to assist myself safely up the steps. The side door only had one step but it was a high one. Once you entered this door, I had to immediately go up additional steps to get into the kitchen. The downstairs shower was very nice, but the floor was tile and was VERY slippery. There was no bath mat provided for a safer experience. The kitchen was very small, but adequate. All of the needed amenities were provided but the quality of the cooking pans made using them a little challenging. The neighborhood was nice and we felt very comfortable in our surroundings.Except for the above mentioned issues the rental was very nice and I would recommend the house and its location.
