You'll enjoy easy access to everything from this cute and cozy home in the Metro East. There's plenty to see and do in the Riverbend area of Illinois. This home is a short 10-minute drive to Alton, and 40 minutes to St. Louis. Do you love the outdoors? Be sure to visit nearby Grafton and the Katy Trail State Park. Nearby hospitals include Alton Memorial and OSF Saint Anthony's. It's just 4 miles to the SIU Dental School. The park-like atmosphere of the fenced in yard is a dog's dream come true!

There is off-street parking for 3-4 vehicles, depending on size. No travel vans, RV's or boats accepted.

This is a family home best suited for professionals, couples or grandparents with children. No parties or events—maximum 4 people, or additional charges will apply. Guests 18 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. One dog 26-50 lbs. accepted, or two dogs less than 25 lbs. No more than two dogs, please. There is an additional charge for a second dog. There is an additional charge for 5 or more guests.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
1. Please make sure the front door is locked (lock button is lower right on the keypad, it will turn red if locked). And please make sure the storm door outside the kitchen is locked from the inside.
3. Be sure to look under the bed/closets for any belongings you might have left behind, and log out of your Netflix, etc., streaming account(s) in case you were signed in.
5. Please strip the bed(s) that were used and leave bedding inside the hamper in the basement. Any used towels should be placed inside the washing machine. Please notify host of your departure.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Guests staying 31+ days must take garbage to the curb weekly. Trash pickup is on Thursday, so your garbage must go out by 6 am each Thursday.
Please do not drive or park on the grassy area in the front yard or back yard. Damage to the lawn or landscaping may result in additional fees.
Any additional guests (including children and pets) must be disclosed prior to booking, or additional fees and/or termination could apply.

The house is on quiet little street with easy access to go to attractions. Very comfortable, had a great stay in Alton. The host was very easy to reach and communicate with. I will definitely look to stay here on my next visit.

Quiet and quaint

We loved this property! It was exactly as pictured and it was immaculate! Decorations were so pretty, even had twinkle lights in the bedroom. Neighborhood was very quiet and convenient to grocery stores and activities. Melanie was a perfect host and her place did not disappoint! We will be back the next time we visit our son and his family!

Festival weekend stay

A girls trip for the Mississippi River Festival brought us to the blue house. It was in a quiet neighborhood just a few miles from the venue. Great location near food and shopping. The listing was very accurate. The house was very clean, had everything we needed and was decorated with a retro vibe. It was absolutely perfect for the two of us!
