The Lodgings at Roaring River Vineyards (RRV) - the hidden gems in the NC mountains. It is located just two miles from Stone Mountain State Park, in the Yadkin Valley Wine Appellation in the heart of NC Wine Country, home of the Blue Ridge Parkway, the NC foothills, and overlooking the Roaring River as far as the eye can see.

The last seating for dining is 1 hour before closing ALL days.
(Due to our location the tasting room/restaurant being open 7 days a week is not viable, but getting out of the house and relaxing in the mountains is good year round 7 days a week. )

My stay at Roaring River Vineyards in the Aspen Lodge was absolutely wonderful. The venue is stunning, peaceful, and beautifully maintained, making it the perfect place to relax and reflect. This visit was especially meaningful to me, as it provided a comforting space to help with my grieving process after the loss of my father. The calm atmosphere and natural beauty brought a sense of peace that I truly needed.This was my third stay here, and each experience has been just as special as the last. We had a great stay! Secluded and quiet. We were there while the restaurant was closed which was unfortunate but probably kept the property from being as busy as it could be. Will definitely consider going back for future trips. We ate dinner in Elkin and Wilkesboro. Great restaurants in both towns and super close to Stone Mountain for a solid day of hiking/site seeing. 100% recommend.

This was a nice cute place for the weekend. It was a bit cool, (40s) at night and it took the 2 space heaters about 4hrs to get nice and warm. Arrived just as the place was closing. Went out for dinner and picked up a bottle of wine. Back at the cabin we discovered that there wasn’t a corkscrew. The staff gave us one in the morning.

Very nice room however there was hair in bath tub and sink. Toilet seat was dirty and I had to clean it up. Cabinet door in kitchen was broke. I will definitely stay again but you may want to talk to your cleaning person.

A friend told us to visit Roaring River and we were not disappointed. The room was great, the restaurant was great and the wine was great!! If you like dessert, you must try the wine milkshake (I was hesitant but it was delicious), and the funnel cake fries. Both were excellent!! We will be returning!!
