Peaceful Retreat

This was such a sweet place to stay in a nice RV community. It’s plenty spacious and a great location! We enjoyed both the front and back porches, and the community is so friendly. The reclining sofa was great for our movie night. Tom was so pleasant and easy to work out details with. We hope to come back next year!

The cottage was clean, well equipped, quiet and comfortable. The amenities are top notch. Hot tub, heated pool, fitness room and billiards. The big surprise was the resident gator in the pond out back. I named him Wally. About 4 foot long. He likes to sun himself in the yard in the mornings. Glad I stayed a month. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Tom.

Hi, we are Tom and Karen Bassett. We recently relocated from Minnesota, and look forward to meeting new friends and acquaintances here in Florida. We have this wonderful park model home in Ramblers Rest Resort nestled on the banks of the Myakka River. We extend this little home away from home, and hope you decide to enjoy it as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

The resort has so many amenities, and is close to the beachs. The river is fantastic for cruising, and enjoying the wildlife and wonderful scenery.
