Welcome to Ponce de Leon Towers 803! This oceanfront 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo gives guests a 24/7, up-close seat to New Smyrna's ebbing tides and clear non-driving shore. Inside, you will find a fully stocked kitchen and a spacious living room with balcony access. From the balcony, you can enter the primary bedroom through its private entryway. The bedroom includes a king-size bed and flat-screen TV. The primary bathroom accommodates guests with a glass-encased tub and shower, granite top vanity, and soft bath towels. The guest bedroom sleeps four with a twin bunk bed and a queen bed provided. The nearby guest bathroom provides a standard bathtub and shower, a raised sink vanity, and plenty of bath towels for everyone. Ponce de Leon Towers is an oceanfront complex on New Smyrna's driving shore. Guests have access to a seasonally heated pool, direct beach access, shuffleboard courts, a community room with a pool table, and plenty of on-site parking. Perfect View

Perfect view in fantastic location of NSB. Easy parking, direct beach access, quick elevators, super responsive management company. We had a small access code issue when we first arrived and the after hours help was immediate. Would absolutely rent again.

Beautiful view

Nice condo with a beautiful view. Great access to the water and walking distance to Chase’s bar. The room had everything we needed.( 4 beach chairs and 4 beach towels) Disappointed with no in room washer and dryer. Coin laundry on every floor though. The biggest problem we had was a lot of people staying on property were unfriendly. That happens though .

the unit is clean and the 8th floor was a great view. Upon arrival the balcony door would not open. The Condo Mgmt responded within 24 hours and it was resoled for us. We will consider staying here again. The pool and ocean beach were great

Not completely remodeled

It states newly remodeled. The kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were fine. The livingroom furniture was horrible, old, dirty, smelly and uncomfortable. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. An old mop and disgusting broom were in the smelly pantry. The microwave didn't work. The floors always felt wet. Low popcorn ceilings in a cave like space. Paying that much was ridiculous.

Many things run down. AC does not cool the master, fan stays on always, furniture too old, lock to get the key is 18th century lock and hard to operate, fridge not working properly and no ice can be produced……..

Extremely dirty accommodations

During our week long stay we discovered numerous hairs all over the condo and in the gust bathroom shower. We also found an old ear ring that was laying on the guest bathroom counter top which has been there for a long time as it was rusted and rust was on the counter top, there was old toothpaste debris that was in the drawer of the master bathroom and the shower curtain brackets kept falling off. We also discovered two areas were a child from a previous renter had what appears to be small hand prints covered in a red sauce on the door casings entering the master bedroom. The front door look does not work and we had to use the deadbolt lock as a way to secure the door. The final straw was when I entered the master bathroom at night, when I turned on the light I saw two cockroaches scurry from the sink down into the cabinet. Basically it appears that the cleaning personnel have not cleaned this rental unit in months which I found completely unacceptable and disappointing. I would highly recommend NOT to stay at this location. For the price of almost $3,0000 for the week I would expect soooooooo much more then an extremely dirty rental. A few other things, they do not provide garbage bags for you trash, the tv in the master bedroom did not work as well as the microwave above the stove. We will not be renting from the property management company again. Very bad experience!!!!

A fun family time with minor issues

Property has elevator issues. The elevator had not been inspected since aug of 21. We were stuck on it once and also had to carry groceries up 8 flights of stairs. This issue was addressed and taken care of promptly. Needs bug spray monthly. Ice maker did not work and we had to buy towels washcloths and blankets to accommodate our family of 6 They also need to up grade the bed pillows and bedding. . Great condo people were great and accommodating. We enjoyed out stay despite minor issues. The on site maintenace man was great in helping us with tv remotes. Loved New symrna Beach area!!

October at the Beach

We really enjoyed our visit to this condo on the beach. Beautiful views of the ocean; fantastic sunrises; fell asleep listening to the sound of the waves. Clean condo, nice pool area, friendly neighbors, great location, easy walk to several restaurants. We'll plan to visit again!

So disappointed

We left pictures were different then actual furniture, popsicles with syrup stuffed in couch. No help from VRBO lost a ton of money. We have spent well over 10k through the years with VRBO and I am thinking I will have to find another route. Awful awful

The property was nice and a great view to the beach. The power went out just after we got there and some people were stuck in the elevator. The maintenance person didn't seem to care and said the people surely had a phone and they could call 911. I called them myself to hopefully lesson the time they spent locked in

Beautiful View and Location

The unit sits perfectly facing the ocean on the top floor of the building. The window in the master facing the balcony and due east allows the sunrise to shine right in each day. The unit is nicely equipped with everything needed for a home away from home feeling with the exception of not having enough TP in the bathrooms. There was only a partial in each of the two bathrooms. The mirrored walls in the master and living room area give the feeling of openness. And with the curtains open to the balcony, showing the ocean view, the open floor plan shines through. The remodeling that was done (tile floors, kitchen counter tops and master bath are very nice. The only negatives to the unit appearance would be the dated and stained (side/handle) refrigerator and rusty shower curtain rod/rings in the master. Initially my wife and I were concerned that top floor would be an issue for us to get down quickly when we wanted to go to the beach or walk the dog. We were very pleased to find that the building sends the elevators to the top floor so they were right there waiting when we wanted to leave. The main issues we had with the unit was the conditions when we arrived and the bath towels. The provided bath towels were of a very thin material requiring us to use the provided beach towels (which were the correct thickness) as bath towels. Fortunately we brought our own beach towels for the trip. The unit was not clean though. The floors looked clean but they were not. Under the bed and the corners of each room were extremely dusty. My wife's respiratory system is sensitive to dust so we had to sweep/clean the unit so she wouldn't have difficulty breathing. The provided dehumidifier was a huge plus and worked perfectly to keep the unit at a very comfortable humidity level provided you emptied the reservoir frequently. All in all our stay was very good and we would definitely stay at the location in the same unit again. Many thanks to the owner and rental agency.

Tired Property-Management Doesn't Deliver Expectations

Fire alarm went off at 2:29 AM, stayed on until 3:21 AM. Was a building problem, not an emergency. Happened AFTER two days of daytime testing the system. Management refused any even a smalle reinbursement/refund. Don't book if you want to sleep. Furniture, pots & pans, bedding all old and worn out, nasty looking crumbs under wobbly dining room table top, kitchen faucet only sprays-no stream-water went flying, ice maker broke, sliding door to balcony very hard to open. Management said to call them with issues, but when called did not solve them. Very dissatisfied and disapointed.
