Reasonable recovery. Bad start.
The property that we ended up staying at was fine. The fact that we arrived at 10 PM at the originally booked property to find it unavailable was really bad.

I booked this property in advance for our family vacation, had a month to cancel and/or adjust if needed. Our plans got changed and needed to reduce from 8 nights to 4, I contacted them through Vrbo numerous times until they finally approved the change (still in the month window). However, they doubled each night fee making it actually more money to stay 4 nights than 8. VRBO rep confirmed that they were charging more than they were charging anyone else for the whole summer. Was incredibly disappointed. Decided to cancel and find a new location for our stay. Was my first time using VRBO through Expedia, left me thinking I should stick with hotels.
