We did not stay in this property - the one I booked - due to a last-minute change by the host. The existing tenants extended their stay so Daniel (host) put us in another apartment in a neighbouring building. While I appreciated him making this arrangement, the communication around the change was poor. I first received checkin details two days out and then, on the day of our arrival (mid-flight from the UK), another set of checkin details with no explanation. Due to flight delays, we did not arrive at the address until after midnight - with no idea which checkin instructions to use. We finally resolved the problem, got in touch with Daniel and found the correct apartment. Messaging could have been much better. Our allocated apartment was larger than the one I booked but it was in a basement with little natural light. I cannot comment on the state of the advertised apartment, or accuracy of the images, but the basement unit was dated and shabby. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot and we were grateful to have a roof over our head for our 8 nights. But it was not a place for relaxing at home. Fortunately we were out most of the time. The location of both apartments is excellent, a few minutes walk from subway options, shops, cafes and restaurants. It is quiet and felt safe. Note that the advertised apartment is a 4-floor walk-up which would be tricky with big luggage.
