The house and beach were untouchable by anything else. The house was clean and so comfortable with it and the beach being remote enough for the quiet vacation we wanted, I can’t say enough good things about our stay or think of anything that could have made it better. Everything was perfect and the booking was so easy and unstressful. Will definitely be a repeat trip.

Relaxing and Natural Surroundings

Beautiful view of sunrise and of the Gulf. The property is very natural and peaceful. The property manager was responsive and helpful. But every thing was as described.

Our plans had to change last minute with this property as there were some unpreventable, unforseeable issues which have since been addressed. However, Vacations by Waypoint was on top of things. They instantly booked another beach home 10 seconds down the road from this one for us. We ended up at NanSeas which was a beautiful and spectacularly stocked home. Vacations by Waypoint was friendly and accommodating. We would definitely book with them again, and plan to.

Beautiful location, however this place has the “landlord special” written all over it. When we first walked in, all we could smell was an overwhelming urine smell. Come to find out the blue rug in the master was soaked in animal urine. 1st night, found a scorpion is master bedroom. Small bugs(roaches) in the master bathroom, and master shower would not drain the entire time we were there. All the beds were incredibly uncomfortable! Lights in parking area don’t work. Got shocked by electrical outlet down below as well. Bottom platform where outside shower is located has several screws not screwed in fully and we stepped on them, worse then stepping on legos. Dishwasher was full of rust.

The beach view was great however the walk down was covered with grass ( needs to be cut back), the bottom landing before the steps to the porch has a screw sticking out so be careful, the back door handle is loose and my partner cut his finger, bugs everywhere, no windows covering which meant the house was hot plus you can’t lower the a/c any lower than 72, one small tv in the living room, we had to move the furniture and tv closer in order to see the tv. The outlets in the living room won’t hold my chargers and kept falling out. The hall bathroom toilet kept running, had to plunge it multiple times and then it quit flushing at all. The chain broke in the toilet. The master bathroom toilet seat was too loose and a shower liner was not included so the water went everywhere. None of the beds had box springs and I had to change the sheets and couldn’t find any fitted sheets. The kitchen didn’t include scissors, tongs, or a garbage disposal and any basic items that you find in a kitchen (trash bags to fit the trash can, sandwich bags, and any spices besides salt and pepper) and the crockpot is from the 70’s. No grill but lighter fluid and charcoal on site. Wood planks and debris left under the steps and overgrown plants. Only one trash can, the other trash can was locked.
