Overall our experience was positive. I would not say this is a true 'ski in/ski out' as there is a bit of a walk from the condo to an area where you could potentially get to the resort/lift but you would have to walk down a rather steep area and there was a fence blocking from the lift area during our stay. It is also likely that the Spring season (which did not produce much snow) is not the ideal time to utilize the ski in/out feature. The unit itself provided basic needs. There was not much for storage and when you are staying several nights with large clothing items (given the nature of the cooler weather and ski attire) it did make us feel a bit disorganized living out of suitcases. The unit was updated with most modern amenities that served our needs. I do think it could use a better cleaning service; carpets/rugs were very old and dirty (leaving lots of stains on socks); cobweb/dust clusters in ceiling corners need to be vacuumed; old food items left from previous visitors could be discarded if out of date. We also experienced the misfortune of another family staying in the unit above ours who were very obnoxious and loud...you could hear the constant stomping, jumping and their dog barking, but that was obviously out of our owners control just an annoyance. Communication with the owner was fantastic and timely. Accessing the unit was very easy. Do suggest you use the google map pin in the listing rather than the actual address as it was a 20 minute difference.

This season has been quite unusual for Angel Fire, with significantly less snowfall than we typically experience. Unfortunately, that is completely out of our control, and it does impact the true “ski-in/ski-out” experience. In a normal year—especially during peak winter conditions or even much of the spring season, which often brings some of the best snow. It’s possible this was your first time visiting Angel Fire, as these conditions have been atypical compared to previous seasons. Regarding the unit size and storage: the condo is accurately represented as a studio, and while it can sleep up to four guests, we understand that space can feel limited with ski gear and winter clothing for your group of 4. For future visits, we would recommend considering one of the larger units if additional comfort and storage are a priority, as this particular unit does have only one closet. We also want to clarify that the pantry items we provide, such as canned goods, dry foods, coffee, tea, and spices are intentionally left for guest convenience, and we regularly check to ensure nothing is out of date. That said, we will certainly take a closer look at your cleaning concerns to ensure our standards are consistently met.
