About this property

Charming, spacious farmhouse close to village, lake and wedding venues

Beautiful fully-equipped 1840 farmhouse set on 5 private acres overlooking Skaneateles lake. Four bedrooms (one is a loft) and two full baths comfortably accommodate eight. 5 minutes to Skaneateles Marina and Anyela's vineyard. 5-10 minutes to Village, Skaneateles Country Club and other event venues. Robust WiFi, A/C in the bedrooms, large eat-in kitchen, living room w/ smart TV, music room with baby grand piano, large central hall/dining room. Grounds include formal and cutting gardens, two small ponds, a regulation horseshoe pit, three patios with outdoor tables/seating and a Weber gas grill, a fire pit, a small orchard and much more. There is a large lawn for volleyball, wiffleball, frisbee, soccer and croquet (all available/provided). Perfect for families and close friends, as the bedrooms are interconnected by a bathroom and two staircases, one of which is spiral. (This means that to get to the twin bedroom or the loft bedroom, you will need to walk through another bedroom and/or bathroom.)

Quiet, comfortable and beautifully appointed. Room for everyone to enjoy good times together--or to relax privately inside or out, with reading nooks, a music room and multiple gardens and patios.

Please put used bedsheets in a pillow-case (really helps out the cleaning service). Please put used towels in the tub(s).
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
We are on a septic system. It is absolutely essential that nothing other than toilet paper and, well, you know, go in the toilets.
The upstair BRs are interconnected by a bathroom and 2 staircases. To get to them, you need to walk through another bedroom and/or bathroom.
The upstairs shower/tub drains slowly. Please clean the mesh drain catch after each use.

Comfortable place that feels like a home away from home in the finger lakes region. Check in was straightforward. The communication was excellent and very responsive. Bring your clothes and groceries and everything else is ready for you to enjoy. We will definitely stay again if availability lines up with our plans.
