About this property

HIDDEN GEM! 2-bedroom cabin outside of Crivitz ON Lake Noquebay

WELCOME TO TREEHAVEN AND LAKE NOQUEBAY Escape to a very clean, comfortable and private cabin on Lake Noquebay for a memorable getaway.

Located on a 2 mile private road, you'll arrive at TreeHaven situated on 9 acres of maple forest and 500 feet of lake frontage. The cabin was built on a slight hill in 1978, remodeled in 2000 and new flooring throughout in 2024.

This retreat features 2 bedrooms with linens, extra blankets and pillows, a full bathroom with towels, shampoo and soap, a cozy living room with a sofa bed, a beautiful stone fireplace and a unique reading corner.

In the kitchen, you'll find a full size refrigerator and electric stove, all necessary cooking pans, utensils and dinnerware. There is a microwave, 12 cup coffee pot, crock pot, toaster, ice bucket, corkscrew, and wine glasses. Also, sugar, flour, salt/pepper, coffee filters, potholders, kitchen towels, dish rags and dish soap are provided

The dining area seats 6 and the snack bar seats 2 and there is a highchair.

The TV receives the main channels and there is also a DVD player, books, games, jigsaw puzzles for all ages. Please note: TreeHaven does not have wifi.

The woods-side of the cabin has a large screened porch with rocking chairs, a table/chairs and games with a spectacular view of the woods. You'll hopefully see the deer, red fox and black bear (very rare). Also, watch for bald eagles, hummingbirds, pileated woodpeckers and red headed woodpeckers and falling stars. Perfect spot for a rainy day, quiet morning and relaxing evening.

The lake side faces south and there's a "morning coffee deck" for a peaceful start to a new day.

There is chopped wood available for both the fireplace and campfire pit. It is by donation and goes to my husband for his work.

Lake Noquebay is 2400 acres that is home to muskies, walleyes, northern pike, bass and a variety of panfish. There are no boating restrictions for jet skis, fishing boats, sailboats, ski boats, etc.

At the lake, you'll find life preservers, anchors, water/sand toys and lawn games in the storage shed. Also, a paddle boat, row boat/oars, picnic table, lawn furniture, campfire pit/wood, a 16 foot pier and a sandy lake bottom await you. You will be the only people using the property. The public boat launch is about 3 miles west. There is plenty of room to park a boat trailer at the cabin.

Marinette County has the Menominee River to the north and Green Bay to the east. A peaceful stay at our well loved cabin is perfect for unwinding and exploring the beauty of the county-many inland lakes, waterfalls (12), public golf courses, lush state and 22 county parks, hiking, kayaking, rustic roads, geocaching, ATV trails, white water rafting and other attractions. There are weekly Ski Cat water ski shows on the lake. A basket of 2026 info is at the cabin!

TreeHaven is located between Crivitz and Wausaukee (both about 15 minutes). Both of these towns have bait stores, grocery stores, shopping opportunities, restaurants and bars. Marinette is 45 minutes east, Green Bay is an hour south and Iron Mountain, MI is an hour north. Other near by towns are Athelstane, Marinette, Coleman, Beaver, Lena, Amberg and Beecher.

!!!!!!!!! We do welcome dogs and no size restrictions, however there are some rules that need to be observed:
-Dog Fee: $10 per night/$50 per week. Any dog not noted on the initial VRBO reservation? The owner will be charged double.
-maximum number of dogs at any time is 2.
-ALL dog/s need to be under adult supervision at all times and they are NOT allowed to be left alone in the cabin. Please bring a crate if you don't want to take them places with you.
There will be a "dog owner contract" to sign upon arrival.

Amenities for dogs: tennis balls, pooper scooper, tie out, dog sheets to put on furniture and lots of water! There may be a "tick population" during your stay, so you may want to Frontline (or whatever brand you use him/her) before your arrival.

Our cabin is just down the road from TreeHaven. We’ve owned our property for almost 30 years and moved up here 5 years ago. We both like fishing (especially ice), gardening, traveling and spending time just sitting on the deck, enjoying the lake, our friends, nature and a cold beer.

Why they chose this property

TreeHaven was built in 1978 atop a small hill on 9 acres and 300+ feet of shoreline. My dad purchased the property in 1999 and the cabin was completely remodeled in 2000. New flooring throughout and a new lakeside shed were completed in 2024. We have 10 neighbors down the private gravel driveway and get together often. Of the 6 cabins along the lake, TreeHaven is the first cabin and we are the last cabin.

What makes this property unique

We are on the north side of the lake which is less populated and less crowded with boat traffic. There are weeds further out and cannot be cut because the area is a designated fish habitat by the DNR. Yes, motor boats are allowed and the launch isn’t far.
We encourage people and children to explore and respect the woods and lake. there are several nature books in the cabin.
