The local is excellent. The host is very responsive. The property is only 15-20 minutes to attractions and downtown Memphis. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood. The house is large and comfortable. If you like to cook meals, there are no pizza pans, mixing bowls and steak knives. So plan accordingly or ask the host. There was no blow dryer and we didn’t pack one so we had to purchase one since we were there for a family wedding. But, all and all, if we visit the area again, I would consider this property again.

First family vacation with almost everyone there

Property was nice, home nice, not enough silverware (had to buy our own), a lot of flies inside house. Not enough towels or washcloths (also had to buy our own), the place was not in my opinion cleaned properly. Shower upstairs also clogged every time about 3-4 inches high. Still trash under couches, under cushions. Only reason I know is when I leave a home that we have stayed in, I strip beds and all. When I proceeded to do this. Trash was underneath couches, cushions and beds. I DID NOT do there job when I saw this. REPEAT I DID NOT DO THERE JOB.The water does get nice and hot when washing dishes.

This house is in a wonderful neighborhood. Its close to Memphis yet not in the city. The host was wonderful, he resolved most issues we had promptly. We had issues getting into the house, he called right back giving us a new code and it worked. The house itself was like it wasn't ready for us, wet laundry in washer and dryer, beds were remade but it didn't seem like the house was totally cleaned, paper products not replaced but host had them provided very quickly. The listing showed errors in beds per room, there were not 2 kings in one room nor 2 queens in 1 room and the twin beds are completely on the floor, making them so low, perfect for kids but not for adults to get out of especially if they are older. A suggestion would be if the house sleeps 12, the kitchen should have at least place settings for 12. We only found 4 coffee cups and there were 6 of us. Thank goodness some of us had travel mugs. We were not able to prepare much as far as meals in the kitchen because of the sparse supply in the cupboards. This house could definitely use some TLC which is sad because the location, size of the house and the host is wonderful.

I’ve updated the listing to accurately reflect the number of beds, and I’ve addressed the issue regarding the unattended laundry with our cleaning team. I understand the inconvenience this caused and, as agreed, I’ve processed a 20% refund of the amount paid to me. Regarding the two lower beds, our intention is to accommodate families and groups of various sizes comfortably. The remaining six beds (1 King, 1 Queen, and 4 Twins) are of standard height. We’re also actively working on improving our kitchen offerings. Occasionally, items go missing or must be replaced for safety and hygiene reasons. We did not cook in the kitchen while there, so I cannot answer with certainty the kitchen was equipped adequately. I do know the microwave was dirty. I was disappointed there was not a coffee pot for K-cups.Also, for what the cleaning fee cost, and having a baby there, I feel the entire house could have been much cleaner. The floors were not very clean and none of the banister or baseboards appeared to have been cleaned or dusted. There was at least an inch thick of dust on the fans and baseboards and the downstairs bathtub wasn't clean. Also, the hand soap was empty.The toilet in the master bath needs some attention, and the wall in front of it looked as if something nasty had been smeared on it. Also, upon paying for the rental I did not intend to include the insurance, but was unable to go back and decline it. We are very careful renters and have never damaged or broken anything.The house overall is nice and in a nice-looking neighborhood. It does need some TLC, but it was very convenient for what our needs were. The Host was very nice and helpful. He quickly responded when contacted.
