We loved our stay! The home was clean and included a nicely updated kitchen and bathrooms which fit all our needs. The pool was an extra bonus! We also loved the convenience of its location to both the downtown of Duck and Corrolla.

We stayed at Waz Up Beaches for a week in August 2026. Upon check in, I contacted the rental company with photos documenting several stained mattresses, soiled comforter. They immediately responded and brought new mattress pads and a new comforter. The home was close to all amenities and Duck, NC was a wonderful vacation.

Good size house for a small family

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The only issue we had was the pool was very dirty and the pool pump kept going out. We didn’t get to use it much at all which was one of the reasons we rented the house.

Lovely beach weekend

This was a great place. Dog and teen friendly with lovely sound views and a short walk to the beach. Very nice inside but not so nice you don’t feel comfortable. Would totally stay there again.

Pros: swimming pool, walk to beach without crossing the road, allows dogs, great mattress on king bed, good space for group of 8, 2 balconies, plenty of toilets.Cons: house is right on the road and can hear traffic, if you're going to cook, you will need some pantry staples (no salt/pepper/anything), 4 rolls of toilet paper and a set of trash bags (thanks for dish and laundry soap) are provided so you need to bring or go to the store.

Loved the house and its location. It was very clean and the number of beds and bathrooms was great for our group of two adults, two grandparents and two teens. The dogs enjoyed it too! I would not have thought of looking for a property with a pool, but we ended up really enjoying it after a day at the beach, a 7 minute walk away through a quiet neighborhood. The only thing I would caution is there are two flights of steps- from the ground to the bedroom floor and another to the kitchen/living area. It didn’t bother us, and we are seniors, but we live in a home with stairs so are used to them.The rental company was prompt and responsive.I should probably add that my son-in-law had just sold his four bedroom beach house in Cherry Grove, SC, and is pretty critical of rental properties. He was quite content with WazUp. We would recommend it and would return again..
