The cabin is fantastic! Super clean, cozy, very quiet property, that is close to town. Leah was very easy to deal with, super sweet, great communicator, and even let us check in a little early too. We would stay here again if the opportunity arises. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Plenty of fire pit options with two on property, hot tub plenty of open space for a morning walk or to let the pups play in. Very quiet the host was great left us two gift of two bottles of wine and a s’more’s kit.

Thank you so much for spending your Thanksgiving at Bankhead Hideaway! We’re thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the cabin, the fire pits, the hot tub, and the peaceful space for morning walks and pup playtime. It makes us so happy to know the little touches—like the wine and s’mores kit—helped make your stay special. Thank you for leaving the cabin so neat and tidy!!! And not to mention all of the firewood you left for future guests to enjoy!!! We’d love to welcome you back anytime!

This cabin was REALLY out of the way. Tucked way back in the woods on top of Bankhead nature preserve. We saw lots of deer tracks all over the property. It has a hudge pond but I wouldn't recommend trying to fish in it. It is vary shallow and has alot of grass and debre in it. But, if you'r looking to get away from everyone and everything this is the place to go. It is, in my words the perfectlt placed for a writer to gather there thoughts and organize ideas. It's definitely a place to escape from society and the everyday hassle of daily life...

Perfect retreat

This place was wonderful. Adorable cabin on a quiet road. The location being on the edge of the national forest is very handy if you enjoy hiking. They have everything you need to cook a little meal. We will definitely stay again in the future.

This was a beautiful place to stay! Lots of amenities and things to do. So thankful for the host, Leah, and her wonderful communication and guestbook that had all the instructions and answers we need! Would definitely come back to stay in the future, the vrbo was cozy and homey, which is exactly what my husband and I were looking for! Literally no complaints at all, felt safe and we had the freedom to do what we wanted at the vrbo, whether it be get in the hot tub, walk on the property, or just sit inside and spend time together.
