• 98 Walking Score • 95 Bike Score • Two Bedrooms w/ Queen Size Beds - 2nd floor • Bathroom - 1st floor • Full kitchen
Lots of unique vintage decor that's always evolving and plants throughout the apartment. The first floor includes the dining room, living room and the freshly renovated bathroom which is off the kitchen. The kitchen has a gas stove, new refrigerator, microwave, blender, and toaster oven. We also provide a coffee grinder, French press, and plenty of pots and pans for cooking.
Both bedrooms are upstairs and have queen size beds. The front bedroom has a closet, where you will find the ironing board as well as extra bedding, while the back bedroom has a desk. All windows in the bedrooms have room darkening blinds. There are towels in each bedroom, but if you need more there are extras stored under the sink in the bathroom. In the summer months there are A/C units in the upstairs bedroom windows.
Please note that we are in the city. Most of the time our street is quiet, but from time to time we are reminded that Portland is a city.
The building is old (built in 1900) and the apartment is part of a duplex, so you may hear the neighbors from time to time.
While we welcome children, please not this house is not "child proof". The stairs are steep and there are no gates. If you need any kid equipment such as a highchair or pack n play, please let us know and we would be happy to provide them for you during your stay.
Parking: We have one small uniquely positioned spot available for guests with compact cars who feel confident in their parking skills. It is in between our building and the building next to it and to park there you MUST back into the space. While this spot is kind of a pain to access, it is definitely a luxury to not have to find street parking. Sometimes you may have to back down our entire street to get into the spot, depending on the number of cars our neighbors have parked in front of their house.
During the winter months the spot may not be available due to snow accumulation.
**** We are new on VRBO but have been renting on other platforms for the past 7+ years ****

We had a great stay! The place was spacious and extremely clean. The kitchen was well-stocked. Great location that was in walking distance to many restaurants. We could also walk to the Sea Dogs baseball stadium for a game.
From the unassuming side street and exterior, the unit has a great layout with thoughtful, interesting, eclectic decor. Everything was very clean, though there were some old home odors upstairs. The kitchen was great, living area very comfortable, and the kids enjoyed playing with the toys. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.
Very walkable to cute main street for restaurants, shopping, the apartment itself is adorable and well-furnished (and quiet!). Thanks for the helpful restaurant recs. One tip: both bedrooms are upstairs and the stairs are a bit steep (if anyone has mobility issues)
We had a perfect stay in this wonderful apartment right in the heart of Portland. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed, even soap and shampoo in the bathroom! It was extremely comfortable and spacious enough for our family of 4 (two parents and two boys, ages 8 and 10). I highly recommend and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Elizabeth was extremely easy to chat with and responded to my messages usually within minutes of me sending a message to her. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!
Parking is indeed challenging but this was fully disclosed. Location can’t be beat. This home feels like someone’s actual vacation place rather than a flip / rental property. There is quirky decor and good books on the shelves. Beds were very comfy. Big, functional kitchen. Hosts were communicative. Fully recommend this place to anyone exploring Portland on foot.
Great location. Very walkable to fun boutiques, markets, laundromat, Tandem coffee, and delicious restaurants. Smooth check-in/check-out process and extremely helpful hosts; good communication. Well appointed and comfortable kitchen, living space, and bedrooms. For those with mobility concerns, the bathroom is on the first floor and the bedrooms are on the second floor. The stairs are narrow and steep. There is access to a small backyard, but it would be amazing if that space were better maintained.
