Great way to get away from the normal day to day stress. Very rural and peaceful area, loved property- glad to get away and visit my family. Owner is very welcoming. Would suggest you listen carefully to his directions and not Googles.
Hot tub was amazing!! He was very pet friendly. He has two dogs himself so keep that in mind they are usually with him. He also has chickens and turkeys. It’s a farm so my kids loved it!
Brian was very nice to communicate with and very helpful when we got lost. His friends that welcomed us were also very helpful and kind. The house was beautiful and cozy. I slept like a baby!
Only staying there one night was our only problem. We could’ve stayed there longer. It was such a unique house with amazing decor. Out in the nature and foothills. It was a little bit hard to find. A lovely garden outback. We saw a deer and he does have chickens and Turkeys. There were cows nearby as we went on some lovely walks. Oh, and there was a loaf of zucchini bread he had just made. And we’re still eating bits of that throughout our travels. Notice the one picture of the deer as he is airborne. What a shot.!!! And the owner is a fascinating person who was quite respectful and helpful. Very welcoming.
If you’re looking for a peaceful, secluded retreat in the mountains of West Virginia, this Vrbo is a fantastic choice. The property is absolutely beautiful, offering plenty of space to relax and unwind. The house itself is well-equipped with all the amenities you could need, and while there are no TVs, the WiFi is strong enough for streaming or remote work if needed. One of the highlights is the hot tub on the back porch—perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. Getting to the property can be a bit challenging due to its remote location, but the tranquility and beauty make it worth the effort.Brian, the host, is friendly and attentive, ensuring guests have everything they need. Be aware that he has two dogs and a cat that roam freely around the property, which might be a plus for animal lovers.Overall, if you’re looking for a spacious, well-maintained, and relaxing getaway off the beaten path, this is a great spot!

Michelle and her family were great guests. Their dog is well behaved and friendly. They left my place neat and clean. They are welcome back anytime.
